They didn't have enough players available in this time slot due to the varsity tournament also at Farmingdale and the tournament directors were made well aware of this the day before as were the coaches. For whatever reason same day as the NLF is also a long standing HS varsity tournament run at same site. Agree that Florida should of been given another game but this wasn't a last minute no show. This tournament needs to be played on turf
You are a founding member of the NLF organization sponsoring the tournament, schedule a game for that time and then forfeit on a team that flew to the venue?. Very poor form. It is fall. Play with who you have and respect the other teams. The sweetlax kids may have had coaches coming to see them play and Crush took that opportunity from them. And to say it was cold and nasty weather. That is a joke. Going forward, games should not be scheduled with the Crush team or any club that does this. unbelievable lack of character and respect for others. Some things about the Crush team never change.
