Why would they want to play those teams?just to say their playing the best teams in that age group? Doesn't do any good for the coaches or the kids.. What kid or coach wants to get beat 15-1 What do u learn from that? The only teams that can hang with the top teams are those top teams..
As a coach, sometimes it helps us set expectations for parents and kids to see how far you need to go to be able to compete with the top teams.
