- better than most A

- 9D1 B (2022A)
- Igloo B (probably also A team)
- Legacy AA

AA teams - are all great, any team can beat the other depending on weather, if a kid is missing, if coach decides to play his top talent and push the gas pedal, if coach wants to rotate more of their players, etc. This is a fact. Outlaws Select is right behind these teams and may be able to beat one of the AA teams if they get real lucky.

A Team
9D1 2022A soundly defeated all other teams, struggled against AA, lost to Outlaws Select while putting up a good game. Igloo A is also a solid team, should play 9D1 2022 for a good team. 9D1 and Igloo are the only teams that could hold any talent in their second teams. Outlaws, 9D1A and Igloo A will struggle because they can't compete with the top 3 AA teams, but are significantly better than other teams on Long Island. This year, Express is going to try a second team (and 3rd and 4th team), but other than their AA, too many teams and too much watering down of talent. Legacy showed up with a strong WSYL team, but that was different than their winter box top team.

If you are cracking on AA, you are just jealous.
If you are cracking on Outlaws - you are pretty sad because they are a great, solid team but are no where near AA.
If you are cracking on 9D1A and Igloo A - you just have not followed them throughout the season.

My son played 9D1A. Completely new team this year. Too few practices, we were promised more, but that is life. We are clearly second to the 9D1AA team. We could not complete at the AA level with one practice per week, no box program, only 1 head coach and 1 daddy coach at each game/tourney. Sometimes we only had 1 coach at scrimmages/tourneys. That was the most disappointing part of the year. We mostly destroyed teams from outside long island and other club teams on long island, so there was no competition there. It did not matter, our Coach kept us playing at the AA level and we got beaten up, but our kids learned and had positive attitudes.

We lost to Outlaws, close game but they clearly beat us. We had a very poor showing at WSYL because we took only our own kids, dropped the older kids and played by the rules. 9D1AA also took our highest scorer and he had the winning score for AA at WSYL. Also we did not have a box team, so we struggled in the beginning of Spring. Now the good - The parents were extremely nice, the kids were great to each other and overall had a great experience. My son learned a lot, got better and still wanted to play 9D1A. The 91 organization could have made it better and are trying to do so this coming year. Would like to see 9D1A play Igloo A and Outlaws more.

It is not about wins, losses, who is better, who is not. It is not about parents whining on these forums. I would rather hear more true stories like this so I understand what life is like on the other 2022 teams. If you notice, many other graduating years have supplemental tryouts because they don't have enough kids or talent. Our kids age group does not have supplemental tryouts because we have too many kids and too much talent at this age group. lets hear some real stories/experiences from parents on these top teams.

Holy crap, what a waste of time...same old thing, igloo and express the best, 91 and lega-sea right below and then jump ball on the B teams and that's just LI. Outlaws, igloo B, and others are solid legit B team s

Again, another one who thinks it goes right from AA to B! It's an absolutely rediculous perception!
