Have actually been to both tournaments. DTOC was once a pretty good tournament now it no longer is. I can tell you the WSYL was great lacrosse, our team struggled against the competition and it is a good team. Was it the best 2022 teams no but there were some tremendous U13 players and extremely good teams. Both of these tournaments seem like they are struggling with age versus grade. This is also true for the youth scene in general; however, as a general rule changing the requirements for eligibility doesn't help the cause. WSYL has changed it every year and by some accounts is considering changing it again. Since they are aligned with USL now, what can they change it to again, poor leaderships and vision.
