I agree with comment above. Suspending them for a Championship game they would have lost anyway is a reward for them this year. They should suspend them for next season. Or figure out something other than forfeiting a season that already ended.
Ridiculous... it only affects the kids, especially seniors. Where is the punishment to the people that are monitoring this(or choosing not to monitor)?

What other rules can arbitrarily be set aside? When you disagree with the rules, you work to change the rules, not ignore them.
