Port really has no leg to stand on after the Syosett loss. Their coaching is failing them and their biggest win was over Locust Valley in a game which, without their goalie (the one who played the first half versus Farmingdale in sun-gate), they might've lost. Hopefully after this Pequa game they either put up, or no excuses are made. Best of luck to both of those teams from a neutral spectator.


You hit the nail on the proverbial head.The coach is horrible. He has been making mistakes all season with personnel. He also has no leg to stand on with the players because he does not follow through on disciplinary actions that he personally imposed. He needs to shake things up. Been sticking with certain players that have folded like cheap suits in tough games. He also has given a certain player way too many chances when they have been on a short leash from the first game of the season. He has been the topic of many comments on this thread. The character of the team follows that of the coach. If a coach is not willing to cut ties to a player that has caused problems all season and caused more harm than good to the team, what does that say about the coach. He is weak of character.  We all have also seen the way the coach and player act during games.


It is not the coaches fault! Port does not have the horses this year. It is as simple as that. Trust me. If PW gets rid of Coach Neal, who else are you going to get?
