How is that Michigan coach able to survive? I understand she started the program but it has now been several years and team started 0-5 this year.
None of the coaches any where are any hot seats - NOBODY cares about womens lax, if not for title nine it wouldn't even exist. Mens football and hoops are the only jobs that come with expectations - they pay ALL the bills for the athletic dept
Well....another ignorant statement here on BOTC. So lets go to the facts. From the NCAA.... in 2013 in only 20 FBS football schools did the football team generate more money than it spent. In 2014 there were 24 FBS football schools that generated more money than they spent. Most football schools in FBS, FCS, and div 2 and 3 the football program LOST money. The basketball #'s are similar. Wont bore everyone with all the percentages. Sooooo before you talk nonsense at least be somewhat educated with the facts.
So Notre Dame football and basketball doesn't make money? Duke basketball doesn't make money? Ohio state football doesn't make money? USC football doesn't make money? Michigan football and basketball doesn't make money? These are some of the coaches who have been described as being on the "hot seat" due to poor results, so again NOBODY cares and if not for title 9 there wouldn't be women's lax, all the aforementioned programs generate big dollars and subsidize the rest of the athletic programs

Place some of your misguided importance on womens lax into your kids academics and you will have a far happier more productive daughter going forward.
