2023 is a very down year for LI. Couple that with the worst group of parents "ever for any age group" shooting their mouths off, it is sad to watch. Yes there are some talented players, I think the parents and mindset of this age group ruins it for all. Many kids will make it to top colleges and will be fine, but you parents are ruining the fun experience travel lax should be, RELAX.
I guess time will tell how "down" this age group is. As far as parents, it is aways only a few that can ruin it for everyone. The negativity, at least on BOC recently, seems to be coming from the cut, moved on, dropped, and jilted. As far as ruining the fun experience, I hope most of the girls are immune to the constant negativity on this thread. With the great weather today, my kids were itching for the season to start.
