This is a great conversation D1 is a great accomplishment and yes many of these LI kids get money to schools on the very bottom of this list but you are right the better D3 and D2's schools are much better than the bottom 30 or so D1 schools. Does your daughter want a D2 national championship opportunity or play on the 100th ranked D1 school? Illustrates again that there is a place for everyone. Pick what is best but those D2 girls went to SB jumped that team to a top 20 D1 team overnight
Yup. And does your daughter want a great education at a top 30 D1 lax program and academic school? Get great grades first and foremost, and work super hard on her skills and fitness.
