SB's defense didn't play badly in the game against Syracuse last year. Syracuse played down tight on the offensive end and managed to get the SB defenders to step back into the 8 and then would fake a shot, get the whistle and score on the free position. SB never used that strategy. They are a more dynamic team then Syracuse but Syracuse did what they had to do to get the win.
SB was in 3 seconds and shooting space all game...wasnt called by refs nearly enough
