I went to the Hofstra v Harvard game last year. Hofstra has become tough to watch. The things they do wrong are so elementary it's painful
Last year was tough to watch, but they have a new OC and DC. One of the biggest problems last season was the old DC wanted to force a zone defense on the girls and it didn't work. Lots of goals were scored on them right in front of the goal. This year their new DC, Shanna Brady from U of Md, is running an aggressive man-to-man defense and if fall ball is any indication they have improved a ton. They also had a TON of injuries last year, and hopefully this season they won't have as many. I expect a record around .500, if not just over.
