Like SS as a person and a coach but too many obstacles for Hofstra to teach their potential and in the end a bad hire by Hofstra. Here are a few. 1) Seemed like a nice idea to bring in the local girl but in the end a big name from Maryland or Jersey would have been better in that it would possibly have drawn some from their region 2) YJ still the biggest club with the most top players . Those players do not want to play for her so from the small pool on Long Island she is recruiting from the shallow end . Schools like MD etc are recruiting from the ocean. 3)Stony Brook , for those who want to stay near home or have come home SB price tag is better , education is better , lacrosse team is better , putting more into building athletic teams and facilities.
Administration at Hofstra hates sports. Have you been to that stadium lately? Getting dumpier and dumpier every day. I bet they can't wait to bulldoze the place.
Any chance SS takes a demotion to go assist Amonte-Hiller at NU in order to reset her career?
