You are also delusional to think that that college rosters do not have players from liberty, Elevate or top guns on them. You need to know there is a bigger world, even in lacrosse , than just Maryland. and yes most Maryland girls tend to stay in the Maryland Northern Virginia area, but some do venture out further. Don't believe that these clubs play only on long Island because that is what your brethren yellow jackets say, they play in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, upstate and upstate N.Y.. You have heard of these places right, The whole world isn't in Maryland. Coaches are starting to realize that they can sleep in there own beds while recruiting good players, just like Kathy Reese can. Just because clubs don't want to shlep down the Jersey Tpk. and to play your girls while you sleep in your bed doesn't mean they aren't attending tournaments to get there players in front of coaches, stop being so self important, the trend here on L.I. is away from the southern circuit and more towards the north where the better colleges are. Except for the Yellow Jackets, sh'e more concerned with winning tournaments than exposure for her girls to keep the money flowing. Just so you know, every girl on my daughters team was recruited except for 2 (both going to become Doctors), only 2 or 3 are in schools south of the Mason Dixon line so if you take your head out of you self important arse you can see that the director is bringing the girls to the tournaments that get the best results for her clientele, and it's not in Md.

You sound like the most self righteous d-bag on here but are just too ignorant to see it. You come across exactly like the teams/parents that you are trying to educate. Why do you worry so much about what other clubs are doing, if a parent wants their kid to play on the most competitive team possible then who are you to say no one cares. You mention BC as if they do not venture south but it seems to me that many of their recent recruits are from the teams you cannot stand. If you do not see that YJ seems to be ahead of the curve in terms of getting their kids into great schools early ( not saying that is for everyone)then you are just blind. Have done many tournaments in New England and the commute is awesome the competition not so much, the college coaches do show up. That said tournaments on Long Island from a recruiting standpoint are essentially a waste of time.
