This is because of the age differences. Now you can look at one or two kids from every team that participated and say that kid is a little older, but the fact is that legacy had more kids that just met the cutoff then any other program. That is a fact. It's not crying, it's completely within the rules. But it is still a fact. Next year I think you will find ever club doing this, and then you will see a much bigger average of player on all teams. That will truly even the playing field. As it should be.


It is sportsmanship at its worst. Not blaming teams (okay maybe I am) but for shame for the tourney for doing it this way. Didn't they changed the rules late in the game. Set the rules now or within 4 weeks of last championship match and let everyone know what they are trying out for.

growing up there were true all star teams, LI time to see beyond the cash and make some of these teams just that. Parents you hold the cards.
