Doesn't surprise me that the Long Island entry isn't killing it. Some of the best players from the tryouts weren't selected and others didn't show up at all.
Sorry but it's the same nonsense every year with parents of kids who did not make a team complaining about how their little superstar did not make it so it must be political . The thing is the evaluators and their affiliations have changed multiple times over the years yet it's always the same whining .Get over it , your kid maybe had a bad tryout , it happens .

When you see 1st team all-county (or similar) players getting passed over while players that don't even start for their JV team make it, what other conclusion could a reasonable person arrive at? By the way, my daughter was selected years ago, but we saw other deserving players not make it, while daddy-coach-evaluatpr's kid, who didn't even start on her JV team. made it. That was my daughter's only year to try out. We were all disenfranchised by the whole process. It's a b***s**t, fake, money-grab. Means nothing if you make it, means nothing if you don't.

Talk about completely political , all-county is only based on your teams final placement in standings and who your coach picks which is many times based on what parent kisses the coaxes [lacrosse] the most . If you do not think a JV kid from a top program may have a better tryout than an all county kid from a bad program you are just ignorant . Every year some moron like you tries to come on here and say it's all based on politics blah blah but never give us the programs that benefitted from the politics so much . The fact that you state you were not at the tryouts yet you know politics were involved tells me all you need to know.
And every year people come on here trying to defend the political connections. Good for you, you kissed up to the right people, kept contacts with the right people from your college days of playing or just simply have a set and call in those favors. Bottom line is own it. LI did not produce on the girls or boys side. Can anyone guess the common denominator??? POLITICS
