Between Baltimore, Philly, and DC is the best lacrosse in the country. Long Island is also very good but doesn't seem to have the depth of good teams that Baltimore Metro area does.

Not true, only reason Boston, Philly, Balt/DC does well at summer club tourneys is because the vast majority of their rosters are populated with older kids. It is what it is, so show some humility.

I think the point is that the best competition came to play in LI this weekend. Teams were from all over. There were some elite teams at other places but the deepest field was in LI. Sad that some teams seem to avoid challeging themselves other than maybe once in the summer.

I think those tournaments in Balt/DC had some great teams, coming up to LI is a pain in the [lacrosse], traffic, annoying strong island parents drinking at 9am, and awful hotels. Best place to meet is in NJ or Philly. The Crush are the best, period, full stop. But they have to work harder to win games now and the games from a spectator's point of view are fun to watch. There's no shame in not being #1 in this age group, the 2-7 teams are all excellent.
