He did in fact play rec football in the fall. I do not know this kid, his family or have any affiliation with or affection for his current or future school or club. It seems that many on this site make things up or exaggerate to fit their narrative/agenda. I am for age based youth sports but lies and repeating unverified BS is no way to go about it. Especially anonymously.

What's even more interesting based upon the stated birthdays is that 80% of the boys listed on the Command Team are hold backs. Only a few playing there age. A few double holdbacks. I guess that's the way they roll in MD. It is what it is!

Go back and look at the birthdays. It's 2019 and 2020 team. Your post is inaccurate and proves my point about exaggerating to fit a narrative. Is that how you roll?

By the strictest definition of holdback (2019 being from 9-1-2000 to 8-31-2001 for example) there are 11 holdbacks. If you discount summer (July and August) birthdays, there are 5.

There are 5. In this day and age, nearly every parent of a boy born mid to late summer will elect to start him later in school. This is not a Maryland lacrosse thing, this is a national thing.
