Because we play the top teams in the country all year round. No need to play a team from Colorado to say we are the best. U15 etc is worthless.
Agree U15 championship is a waste of time/money. Many of the best teams don;t even attend. G8, Capital Cup, etc. a much better use of time and money.
Same could be said for the junior and senior national teams about time, money, coaches. Etc......Yet every girl who plays lax aspires to be on those teams, honored by the same organization who crown the national championship of each age group. Been to any and all tournaments mentioned as better, and have won at all of them. Yes some offer better competition, but none of them are more fun and thrilling for the girls, not even close.
