If a kids Bday is August 25, versus a kid Sept 5 that kid is almost an entire year younger, correct? But playing in same age group. Maybe best to look at a hybrid option ...Grad year, with a not older than requirement.

This actually may help players that want to play up get much better. Many clubs restrict better players from playing up even if they could compete.
