complete joke statement. 700 division 1 recruits in each class. NLF has 120 kids in each class. And in the 2020 group, outside teams are beating these NLF teams consistently!! Plent of space for other clubs and kids. However, thats what these 6 clubs are telling their families, their kids and kids parents that they want. JOKE. Develop your own back yard. Big fraudulent scam.

Some snippits from HS thread: here are some numbers.

There are approximately 100 2019 verbal commitments. I would guess 95% have not played a Varsity game.

It looks like every single one of the kids play Club.

There are approximately 30 Clubs represented.

Sweetlax, Laxachussets, Big 4 HHH, and Edge are leading the pack. Express, Madlax, Crabs, 91 and some others are not far behind, all have multiple commits.

There will be another 150 - 200 kids committed after this summer with the majority of kids being from the 30 or so clubs with current commits.

About 20 DI Schools have at least one 2019 commit. The usual suspects have as many as 13.

I would guess that 15 - 18 of the current Top 20 college programs have at least one freshman committed and just about all of the Top 30 - 40 schools were actively recruiting the class of 2019 this past summer and fall.

Like it or not playing on one of the top club teams has advantages. Exposure to more college coaches and playing in the most competitive tournaments are two of the advantages. Even after kids commit college coaches are encouraging their recruits to continue to play with these club because they want them playing against the best competition.

You are correct that there are a lot of spots but they are filling up fast at many of the top programs/schools.

Remember, there is more than on way to skin a cat. You do not have to play on one of the top club teams in order to be recruited but to diminish or ignore the facts and or benefits/advantages is foolish.

To each his own.
I agree. There are enough events to get noticed though and not be an NLF member. Does it help? Yes, but these coaches know who the other top teams are. Looneys 2020 has a ton of D1 kids on it. You think colleges aren't going to find them because their not NLF members?

Don't tell 91 or Express parents your inside info. The owners need more $$$$
