For 2020, Hawks sure does look good. FCA has been struggling - they do not look like their normal team, 91 is not playing as a team and has one kid who rarely passes to open team mates, runs it down and loses the ball more than scoring, Looneys Green is listed as top 3 but only because their line up has been A teams. Looneys Orange looks strong and their games with 91 and Hawks could have gone either way. RoughRiders is also struggling after losing players to other teams.
thanks for the unbiased review! any idea how many kids left Rough Riders and where they went?
3 went to Looneys Orange and one went to Looneys green. They also lost another possibly to FCA but not sure about that one. Looneys Orange will be fine once they get on the field with full team and 91 is talented if they can control the showboating, share the ball and play with discipline.
wonder if Rough Riders will compete at the "A" level this spring rather than "AA".
Not with losing that many players.
Last year there wasn't a 2020 AA because only a few teams would declare as such. If it's only 4 or 5 teams in AA, they may blend in the AA with A again. Lots of lopsided games. It would be better if all of the traditionally AA teams played in AA. There should be a AA division of at 8-10 teams. There would be some teams that aren't going to vie for a title, but there would be plenty of competitive games. If RR goes in as AA and it's them and the 3-4 top AA teams, no fair and no fun for RR. But if several others at the same level go in as AA than those teams would have a couple matches with the top teams and the rest against similar opponents. There's a trickle down effect if everyone tries to enter in the division that they can win rather than where they can be competitive. There would be mid-level A teams that go into B. It's better to go 2-4 against top competition than 6-0 against lesser.
