The coaches voted to move it back to Sept.1 of Junior year. Why do those on this board think that they know better.


If they stick to no one talking to anyone before this date it can work. But no contact on any kind causes a extreme rush to find a school. It happens in football a lot because they wait to sign and find guys a lot later. So the kids do not have to time to really see who is signing where. If you do Soph. year it gives the 8 to 12 kid per class to really look over the kids in each teams class so they pick the correct school for them. The rules do not work in the kids favor when it comes to changing their mind. I think 99% would agree that 9th and 8th graders are to young. But the top 20% of Soph. are what they are and should be good players if they are great as a Soph.
