Don't get your point. Lax is in the picture and so is a very large scholarship which most of us likely can not relate to. Very early commits are tempted with substantial offers that may not be there in a year or two. The early recruiting system is extreme and needs to be changed, everyone agrees with that but who are we to say that a parent is not able to help their daughter navigate through the process and make a very informed decision on whether to accept a scholarship or not.

1. How do you know it's a very large scholarship?
2. Why do we know about this situation?

Will someone who is defending the decision to have an 8th grader commit to college please also defend the parents publicizing it?
