Wasn't an argument. If a girl made a commitment to Syracuse as a 2020, it would be national news, Sports Illustrated stuff. An 8th grader committed to a top lax program...good stuff, newsworthy. Do you really think if a 2020 announced a commitment that it wouldn't be national news, especially with all the visibility with recent proposals?....just as the trailblazing girls did who made national news with their verbal commitments in soccer and softball did as 8th graders. This is a girls forum is it not? And everyone thinks there is some big rush with the new proposal, but there really isn't. It's escalated from years past, and it surrounds the current best of best from 2019's. There is no rush to get 2019's or 2020's to verbally commit. Most 2019's (really their parents) are sitting around wondering when princess is going to be contacted by coaches. That proposal isn't being enacted tomorrow, so for the majority of coaches it's business as usual until it does. Remember most want it, so why would anyone rush, when what they all ask for is time to evaluate? Back to the matter at hand, so where was this wonderkind's verbal announced at? Oh, let me guess, it's super secret and you just happen to be in the know. If you are so in the know, then I'm sure you wouldn't mind sharing? SI is waiting to do the article on the next young prodigy. Any thoughts?? Yeah, give us all a break and read, don't post.
