Being down a team or two , when you shouldn't have 5 teams is one thing, but not being able to field a team in the 2020'age group is embarrassing . They are not a good program for girls. TG not being able to field a 2nd team is puzzling

Oh yes they are.. TG is in a lot of trouble 12 girls left black this year for other clubs what is that telling you? Purple is simply put just horrible and a lot of parents declined their spots this year. But it's not just his age group TG is having major issues at all levels.

That's incorrect, 11 girls left. Look at the roster for the games this weekend and you will see that there are 12 new girls on black. Do your research and get the facts before you try to save face. No need to lie, the facts are all out there. The team is like a brand new team with over half the players new. Check elevate, legacy, Liberty and YJ for the players that left TG black this year.
I try not to respond here ever. But i'll give it a go. The Top player left for YJ, good luck she is a great player .One defender left for Legacy, good luck to her as well. two girls quit travel lacrosse totally. the other girls were not invited back to the black team, for whatever reason. they were replaced with players SS feels fit what she's trying to do. Not sure where you see 11. This is not a game, picking on 13 year old girls to puff out your own chest. So yes there is turnover, but it's not quite how you drew it up. It's obvious that this is not the same team it was two years ago, but don't knock the girls that stayed. I'm especially ashamed for the parents who were on the sidelines that praised all the positive things the girls had the first couple years but now badmouth the girls that stayed. You guys should especially be ashamed of yourselves, just a bunch of pathetic losers who have nothing else to do with your time. You know who you are, just move on, if you're daughter is happy let it go.
This paragraph you wrote just confirms what everyone else already knows, that more than a handful of girls have walked away from TG and will continue to do so. It's funny that the two that you claim quit lax completely now play travel lax for other clubs and that is a fact. It also proves what's been said that this club/team is now just a shell of its former self and is continuing on a downward spiral quickly. How does a club go from number 1 in an age group to now number 3 or 4 on Long Island? Nothing against the girls that stayed but you parents need to face reality that the team/club is now where near A level anymore. And with the talent pool dwindling on Long Island, doesn't look like they will ever be back to the TG they used to be 2 years ago. College coach or not SS will not be able to do anything about it other than tell you your kid is going to be the next "it" kid and just stick around, she will devote all her attention and time blah blah blah
