Families that can afford more, play more. Year round Lacrosse is now a country club sport. There is very little middle ground left. The sport especially at the HS level has squeezed out anyone that doesn't play travel because no one passes those who don't play the ball. Its a problem
It also looks like travel peaked on Long Island a year or 2 ago. Many programs have given back all the growth they had over the last few years.
