New teams will try to entice coaches to their program by giving them "director" status and a piece of the pie if they bring kids with them. They are all doing it. It's up to the parents to make a decision based on the overall program and its history.
For the clubs and coaches it's a business. The parents buy into the hype and shop their kids around. No one steals them.
