Apparently you can't comment on the Tryouts posts, so I'll start the bitching here - and this isn't directed specifically at anyone. $75 for a 2-hour (or less) tryout?? I know clubs want to be sure families are serious and not using the tryouts as free clinics, but that's a bit steep. A nominal fee of $20-25 would be plenty to keep the bargain hunters away and the rest should be a cost of doing business and/or rolled into the annual club fees for those who are selected. For those who will say this is a dead horse - beat away!
You can post in the tryouts threads.. you simply can not do it anonymously and that is for obvious reasons.
