so true, so true...way too much glory is always heaped upon the girl/boy who "goes to the cage' or has coach yelling "green light, so & so"..never mind where the ball, more often than not, originated from--a stellar or routine play on the defensive end. thats where the real work is done...but parents lovvve it when Johnny or Mary looks like a stud by scoring on a hapless goalie...
