Team 91 and Express North battled to a 11-8 win for Team 91. If Express North had won just a few faceoffs, who knows the outcome. Bottomline, the game was played with intensity and skill even after playing since Saturday in high heat. Kudos to all the boys.

We watched the 2019 final after the intense 2018 final concluded. I too am amazed at the level of competition in the 2018 and 2019 grad years. The final four teams in 2018 grad year have so many great players, fun to watch. The 2019 final with the Team 91 and LI Express North was a war. Both teams played their hearts out and never stopped running. I particularly enjoyed watching some of the old school middies who played both ends of the field. I've grown tired of specialist middies that run on and off the field more than they do during game play. Kudos to the coaches who are encouraging kids to play the "right" way.

The LI Express North program continues to develop into a powerhouse. The 2019 team beat the Crabs, Dukes, Club Blue, Leading Edge and lost to Madlax Capital AAA in the final at the Young Guns Shootout on the Marlyand campus last weekend. Great first season.
