Most would say it's better to be on th eblue team and not play in meaningful games. This is because you are playing for the best coaches that the club has. Girls learn a lot more in practice than they do in the games.

What you don't understand is once they hit 9th grade and they are playing in recruiting tournaments it all changes. All girls are required to play 50% of every game. So the goal is to stay on the top team until high school because once you are there, you are going to be see by coaches.

All this back and forth about middle school lacrosse is stupid. Unless your girl is miserable because she doesn't play in the close games then I guess you have to make a decision. But as we all know, with teams like YJ, M&D, etc 80% of their games are not all that close and at the end of the day, the girls usually end up playing the same amount.

Wrong, but keep telling yourself that. The girls that don't play usualy get replaced the next year! Do you think YJ wants 1/2 a bench they don't fee confident enough about to put in a final game? Once someone better shows up those girls will be replaced.

How exactly are these girls getting replaced? Very rarely do you ever see more than 2 or 3 girls change year to year. Especially in this case where the team is on the rise. Where are all these supposed replacements coming from? You may see one of the top girls from TGs or another club, or even a girl get moved up from within. Most of the top girls available are already there.
