Al Bertelone is a very good coach. We are new to YJ. She learned more in one season with him than 4 seasons combined with a another club. The other club was a good experience but some of the coaches were too young and inexperienced. Sorry you had a bad time with him.
The problem is not that he is a good trainer, he is. For $100 dollars an hour he better be. The fact is that he should not have been on the fields for those tryouts. There were goalies there better than at least two of the ones he chose, who just all happened to be Yellow Jackets.
There were about 8 selectors there do he could not have picked them himself
