Nope. Do you keep it as is. Or do you go records and playoffs, etc? I think you could do both. Have an elite division with playoffs and have the other divisions with the rec/dev spirit that PAL is. And let teams choose if they want to enter a playoff division or not. A playoff system would be fun for the kids (and I don't know for the parents...)
