We are from LI and we have 8 D1 committed players on our varsity team and none of them, including my son, plays for a travel team. They don't want injury.
Herein lies one of the issues with early recruiting. Giving up on competition and development way too soon. I'm sure you'll say that your kid is working hard to keep his skills up. Nothing like good game competition to prepare for D1 lacrosse.
