You are absolutely, positively ... WRONG.

First, such "reimbursements" are major violations of NCAA recruiting guidelines and, if uncovered, would result in the complete - and we do mean complete - elimination of a lacrosse program. Just take a look at the sanctions imposed in football for "innocent" booster sponsorships when uncovered. These payments are an athletic director's worst nightmare.

What you are missing is that lacrosse is a money loser for most universities. There is no economic rationale for a college to offer "kickbacks" for channeling players.
