Connor Murtha from William Floyd HS Earns Week #8 Boys' High School Player of the Week

This Senior on Long Island who is headed to play for D3 Farmingdale State College understood his role would have to change and concentrate on scoring goals. He quickly became the scoring threat that William Floyd Colonials needed, notching 22 goals and 11 assists during a 6-10 campaign, this week.

Connor's intelligence played a major role in his ability to, almost literally, turn into a different player and still remain incredibly effective. Smart in the classroom, smart on the field, he does it all. Murtha has earned BOTC Week #8 Player of the Week honors voted upon by our staff.
