Massapequa and True Blue are not the same team. True Blue may be Massapequa based, but there are definitely a few very good players supplementing the 'Pequa core. Without those players Massapequa is not in the conversation--that being said they have definitely been brought in for town tournaments before...

Not even close. By request, they played in the bottom bracket of travel teams at JDRF.They played against the True Blue B team.Tomahawks, Be the best and the Hitmen would beat the Jesters this year.

By request says who?

Jesters are in the B division of Forsberg this weekend. That puts them with Legacy Ravage, Express 3 and some decent town teams among others. If anyone really thinks Jesters are on par with True Blue and fl$ then they will absolutely demolish their competition this weekend. When they don't (and they likely won't), you'll have your answer from results on the field instead of from postings on a message board.

Jesters went 1-2 in the B bracket.

Outlaws are playing Rising Sons in Monmouth NJ. That would probably be the championship game too

Are Outlaws supplementing the team with assorted 2019s? Sons are like their buddies from MD and cannot resist the holdbacks.

You have no clue about the Outlaws 2020 team if you think they have hodbacks

Sons lost to Legacy by 1 and Terps by 2 in April so they are still an excellent team. Since the Outlaws can't beat the B teams of either Legacy or Express much less compete with their A teams, this game against the Sons likely is going to be another blowout.

As in you are interested to see how much Sons win by?!? Sons compete with the Crushes, Terps and Legacys of this age...the Outlaws will be nothing more than a speed bump on their way to the semifinals.

Will be tough to rank as some are in A bracket and some in B. Hard to make comparisons. 3V playing in B but beat Viper who is playing in A for laxfest.

Not sure Forsberg showed anything other than Three Village should be on list. As to the rest at Forsberg, Ravage showed they can only play with Taz players, TLI decided to play like it was practice, using everyone evenly, and Viper had fanatics on sidelines, some of whom clearly can't recognize a zone defense.

It's all too early to tell, or care that much. Good luck to all.

3 Village typically enters A brackets.
Good for the Vipers going into A.

The fl$ touney brackets are certainly not even. Legacy's B team has an easy path on Saturday.
The other brackets have some challenging match ups.

The Rising Sons have 1 hold back. I believe he was just picked up at the end of Spring. Any team that competes with Long Island those parents cry hold backs. Crabs is another story.

You forgot to mention Legacy Taz. This is going to be a great tournament. Best guess for semifinals is that Terps will play True Blue as North 1st place against South 2nd Place and that Legacy Tax will play Igloo as South 1st place against North 2nd place. Terps/Legacy final would be great game and put the winner firmly as #2 team on Long Island behind the Crush. Great to see teams finally meeting on the field instead of just as opinions on message boards!

Garden City is supposed to be a very good town team so I wouldn't hand that division to Ravage just yet. It would seem fl$ and Three Village should be 1-2 in Pool 1, True Blue and Express 2 should be 1-2 in Pool 2, and Ravage and Garden City should be 1-2 in Pool 3 so they don't appear too uneven.

GC is not a very good town team. Patriot from Jersey is good.

Generally have heard about the truly top teams from off LI and have never heard of Eclipse or Team SuperStar and remember Prime Time as finishing middle of the pack at a tournament last year so yes, I have dismissed the non LI teams. Do you know any of these teams and have any game results that would say how good they are?

Eclipse has qualified for World Series in Colorado. Heard Legacy tried to get in but was denied. Guess this is their chance to show they belonged in Colorado. Too bad Crush is playing up at Lax Fest. If they were in this division, it would be every top team on LI plus the best team from Connecticut!

You are absolutely right. It is a moronic way of doing things by the organizers and I did not read it close enough. Really is incredibly stupid to have 2 teams that already played face off again in the semifinals instead of crossing the brackets. If any of the organizers of the tournament are reading this, I'd love to know why you do it this way. Thanks.
