That stinks. But typical of Crabs, the held back stuff is out of control. We know people heading to Denver for u15 this weekend. Got to be a good feeling to see the RARE sighting of kids playing under the watch of PROOF OF BIRTH!

Felt that way about Dicks TOC... the better tourneys like this where kids come from all over- will be aged based. Hopefully the tourneys will follow this format- everyone knows where they stand when making a big financial and time commitment to attend.

Typical LI post, god forbid a little tiny sophomore has to play against a big bad junior. Not sure why they were allowed to use a player from a different grade, but don't how that automatically opens up the mundane, tired, boring holdback issue. We get it, Long Island doesn't like it, well people in Maryland don't really like it either, but it is what it is and we don't whine about about it every 45 minutes or so.....it's just boring, tired and done.....would love to come on here and see people talk about great plays or players.....all of this negativity won't change anything...can't we all just get along

Actually, there is a big split this weekend and most won't be consolidated anywhere. Terps Young Guns, IL Lacrosse tournament and fl$ in 3d in no particular order. Last year the fl$ had a huge turnout of coaches. This year there are two competing tournaments with decent teams in them. The lists of pre-registered attending coaches is pretty large for Terps and fl$. Not sure about IL, but am sure IL will do a good job selling it to get attendance. We will see.

The 2017 teams for IL's tournament are terrible. Madlax and Breakers are the only 2 decent teams out of 5. Whoever heard of a tournament of 5 teams. But more importantly, the IL tournament doesn't start until Monday, so it's not in the mix.

fl$ in 3D has a lot of teams, but no top tier ones.

Coaches looking for quantity over quality will go to fl$ in 3D. Coaches focused on quality will go to Young Guns to see Crabs, Dukes, VLC, etc.

Get over yourself. Dukes are a good team. Crabs are a good team, but this Crabs 2017 team has won only one tournament in last couple of years. VLC is a joke. Half their good players have either left or reclassified and that team never seems to get to the semis in any top tournament since 8th grade.

The Eclipse team that handed losses to both Crabs teams is at fl$, Breakers team that beats you is at IL.

Win something or shut up.

Sad post. Apathy gets you nowhere. History is riddled with mistakes borne of apathy. Wrongs are righted when people stay focused on the issue at hand. By your philosophy, our own great nation would never have come about.

Now wait a minute. Maybe there is a logical explanation, like he wandered onto the wrong field. I mean the 2017 team probably has the same jerseys as the 2016 team. Could happen.

Hey, Madlax dad. Keep pimpin that dreadful IL tournament.

Crabs, Dukes, VLC and a couple other teams at Young Guns could easily beat any of the teams at 3D (or IL)

As long as it is a stated fact... xyz is playing on abc team- I do not see a problem with it. There is no slander. The fact is that some see playing for a younger team as wrong, especially if you are slated to graduate a year earlier and already committed to college. If he chose to reclassify himself, as a 2017 after he committed, then I suspect it would be fine. So is he reclassified or left back?

A cheating minor. He and his parents should be ashamed of their selfs. At 16 you are old enough to say "this is wrong, not ethical, I'm not doing it" otherwise you wind up called out on botc. Grow a backbone!

Not a Madlax Dad here. Crabs 2017s are a talented team but have not won any tournaments. They have lost competitive games very good games to Edge, Turtles. Dukes have lost more than a few to less elite teams. And just stop it with VLC. Can't beat Breakers, can't beat Eclipse and those are two teams at the other "loser" tournaments you are picking on. Yes, we all know that Dukes and VLC teams won one tournament each when they were in 8th grade and have been awesome in the consolation rounds of tournaments since. Edge, Turtles earned earned the right to write like you. Yes, LI guys are brash but they back it up. BTW, I am also not a LI Dad. Win or shut up.

Crabs vs. Tri-State and LeadingEdge vs. Dukes in semis of the Terps Young guns. At least Crabs and Dukes are pulling through to playoffs. Get worked FCA and VLC, and come back as 2018s next year.

I hope the tournament guys can do better next year. Tournaments this Summer were so pathetically watered down. Seems like the good tournaments now have 3-4 decent teams, and the great ones have 10-12 decent teams in a field of 40 like Crabfeast. Yeah, it was wicked awesome beating up on Roch Blaze. I feel bad for college coaches who have to sit and watch good teams like LE or Dukes slam down warm bodies that paid two grand for a weekend tournament by a dozen goals.

Why should they only be focused on recruiting events ? Field a quality team and go have some fun. It doesn't interfere with any recruiting events.

I was just at the FCA - Colorado game and there were college coaches watching the game. Didn't go so well for FCA, 0-2 vs Colorado

Everyone knows the U15 tournament is a joke in terms of competition and recruiting value. No matter if it's FL or CO, it's too far to travel to play crappy competition.

Every year, there are only 2-3 decent teams. Everyone else is horrible.
