The only concern I have seen is from a few wackos on this thread. Probably thinking that they can somehow create a panic and maybe, just maybe somehow it will end up that CR will be forced to recognize just how talented their daughter is and bring her in to save the blue team and the Yellowjackets good name.

And it's the same with every program.

What does everyone think about the 2020 YJ second and third team. Without all the b.s. Honestly. Id like to get a fair answer on coaching,etc...

Why must you be a lemming? We have the best club but it is ridiculus how everyone follows and pays blindly. We are a club of [lacrosse] kissers. On our team people beg to give her money just to be connected. Its insane. Its business, she should be kissing OUR ASSES

I never understood that if the goal is to get recruited how being #25 on the blue roster because you are a F&F member helps your daughter? If you aren't on the field at crunch time coaches see that. Why wouldn't you want to drop down to the B team and be the go to girl who's on the field at all the big moments of the game?

Because if you are F&F chances are you won't be the top girl on the B team either. So when you fill out your recruit application you can put down you are on the blue team and hope that generates interest.

I think the evaluators may have a difficult time finding the diamonds in the rough for their '25 YJ team last night. SO MANY girls and such a small space. Seemed to me they were content to just keep the two teams they have and collect fees from those coming over from other teams or simply trying to make the team for the first time. Fingers crossed but... like I said, crowded and small venue... Any other thoughts from anyone on the tryout?

Sure because when the college coach comes to watch you what are they watching? If you stand or sit while you are on the sideline? Even weak clubs like the wave gets tons of girls commmited, why? because they are seen PLAYING!

Settle down B team dad. Sorry but they play in a lot of recruiting tournaments so playing time is equal and in the championship tournaments there are many games that the 25th kid plays as much or more than top 5 kid. A lot more exposure on the top team, that's why so many B team kids pay the private fees etc to be moved to the A. Wave , you may want to check their commitments.

The idea is to play and get better!

Lots of girls leaving YJ at 2023. That year is a disaster because the B team is better than A, B team Coach is great and probably should be coaching A team. If your daughter makes the B team, and you are ok with playing on a B team, it is a great experience in this age group, you will be happy

Bench warmer on blue or stud on playing big minutes on Wave? their recent commits to some decent schools (not Maryland, but nice Northeast lacrosse)Marist, Towson, Adelphi, Post, Mercy, Stony Brook, Albany, Catholic, Molloy, Sacred Heart, Fairfield, Cortland Umass. Coaches want to watch kids play.

Many diferent paths to play at the next level. Good luck to all

The A team will dominate the B team this summer.

cause the best girls in the grade who ere on B are moving on, along with some of the better As who are fed up with mommy and daddy coaches. Both teas will be left sub par due to politics

Im sure that won't happen again this year. The appropriate changes have been made and the A team will be dominate as usual.

If B is better than A, doesn't that make them the A team?

Thorn is listed first on the new rosters page. Does that mean they flipped A and B?

Only the top teams remain ELITE, the rest are pure money grabs from sucker parents.

Thorn and Daddy coach are the A team coaches.
