Are you this dense , first it is not a 2017 tournament so settle down, YJ made it to finals and yes lost to skywalkers, 2017 and 2016 have beaten skywalkers every time they have played so calm yourself. That being said the 2017 person posting this nonsense is an idiot

at 2017 Skywalkers aren't even top 3 in Maryland. M&D, Hero's and TLC are, IMO, better teams

Are you dense? U-15 means any player under 15 years old, including any girl from a 2017 team. What it is not is a 2016 tournament. So maybe you should calm yourself. We dont all follow the pecking order of every age group, but what I do know is that some of you fellow tool Y.J. parents were saying the same crap last year and your #1 team got smacked by a club, then your #2 team got smacked by the same same club. With Cardinal , M&D , and Stickbenders in the race I would not be shooting off at the mouth just yet, but you think that you are superior because your daughter plays for the Yellow Jackets thats why you come on here calling people names. I only hope that she is a better person than you, But with an arrogant sounding parent like you, what are the chances?

Clearly not a YJ 2017 parent that team is very low key and successful, they go about there business very quietly. They have played all of the teams stated above and have welcomed the competition. Nice teffort trying to stir the sh*t up with this team but you are barking up the wrong tree. They are good, stay very active and fly under the radar in the drama department.

Can you shed some light on some of the entrants from the southeast, I don't know much about stick benders or cardinal where are the from, are these strictly club teams or a combination of multiple clubs?

Concerning age and grade of players the date of birth has to be
on or after September 1st 1997. So any player on any team that meets that reguirement can play. The tournament is age specific not graduation year.

The majority of players in this tournament will be 2016, a few 2015 kids will also be there and the better 2017 players.

I'm surprised that US Lacrosse would allow this. It's really not fair to the rest if the clubs who are picking players just from their own clubs.

The entire 2017 Bert Yj team is going. A few 2017 players are playing on YJ Team One or Blue as they're calling it, and a few of the 16s are playing with YJ Team two which is basically the 2017 Bert team

Nems and M&D did not combine. A few girls from each club joined together with some other girls. The NEMS and M & D Clubs just did not want to send teams. With the heat and humidity in Florida as well as all the costs hard to argue why this makes sense.

I give the club owners credit. Do not see how any of the benefits outweigh the above.

So if a new incoming 9th grade girl gets a roster spot in September is she eligible for that team? Mt daughter will try our for several clubs, just wondering how it works. Thanks

I assume you mean U15 team for summer 2014. She would be age eligible but I also assume each club has different methods of determining who makes the U15 team at National Champ. Most hold tryouts so a roster spot is no guarantee.

We did beat them (YJ 2015 blue LM), against Skywalkers 2015 Blue. At next rematch in Annapolis, in fall tournaments. It was a great game. Many girls from both teams were recruited after the game. Both teams have many quality players and it proved that on any given day, anyone can win it. Best of luck to all teams playing u15 this year. It's a great tournament with amazing competition! And whoever wins...remember there is a match-up right around the corner in the fall!

Thank you. Hoping she joins a decent club with competitive coaches. I guess it's safe to say U15 tryouts won't be held until after teams are formed, which is great so the girls can practice more. Is the game televised?

Tryout for team are generally around May and June. No TV but you can follow live at US Lacrosse

Not to be a pain but what is the difference between two teams combining or joining together?

I'm not the one who made the comment, but from reading it my guess is that they meant the club representatives didn't get together and combine their teams, it is girls from each who formed a team on their own with some other girls. But then again, I shouldn't assume.

That's a great idea, seriously-if a player does not make her clubs U15 team then she can grab a group of girls and a coach and enter?

Incorrect assumption

If the 2017 team that qualified at unmass is not going it is unfair to the girls. If a group of girls qualifies by winning a spot they should go the organization should not choose. If that is what is happening.

The qualifying team from UMASS is going but six of the 2017 players will be playing on Defo's team, the rest of the 2017s are on the second team. Carol took the strongest players from 2017 and put them on Defo's team plus their goalie. couple of 2018 players also on second team as well as the goalie. Not all of Defo's players were asked and two of his players are on the 2017 team with a 16 Curcio player.

Why so much roster movement for a national championship tournament? Doesn't seem right I know its the norm but if you played your way in, you should play with that team in the championship. This is not a showcase

Scoreboard Headlines

Having covered all of today's matches, one thing stood out on the scoreboard : 27 matches were decided by ten goals or more today. A total of 48 matches were played. Overall, this means that 56% of the games were simply not competitive on today's docket.

In contrast, only 9 matches were decided by three goals or less for 19% of games. Not a good day to be a passing spectator!

Yellow Jackets Blue and Sky Walkers again appear to be at the front of this year's pack with the STEPS 2016, Long Island Liberty, Bear Lax Blue 2016, Dominant (Maryland) and Long Island Top Guns also putting up 3-0 records.

Other notable results included Team Elevate (2-1), Long Island Express (2-1), Yellow Jackets Gold (2-0-1), and NEM&D (2-1).

The match-ups should be interesting heading towards the quarterfinals from amongst these eleven teams - there just will not be room at the table for everyone.

Looks like they would have been better off accepting some northeast PAL teams and playing this in NJ. Many of these teams from other parts of the country can't keep up. Way too many games witha +10 goal differential

That's why, regardless of club affiliation, our kids in the the Long Island to MD/VA region including PA, NJ, DE are in a great position for recruiting. There will be a place for all our kids.

Field 7: #3 Dominant handles #30 Utah, 17-4
Field 9: #14 Stars Gold double #19 Cardinal 2016 Red, 12-6

Scoreboard Highlights

While we expected opening round blow-outs in the knock-out phase, did we really need to see 16-0, 16-0, and 18-0 scores posted by the Long Island teams? Yes, this is a "national championship" and much of this points to unbalanced competition even at a national level. Should these teams even be competing at a national tournament?

Keep telling that to yourself. Have you seen the number of spots available on D1, D2 and D3 rosters?

In the 11:00am matchups, word from the field is that Team Elevate is facing a major challenge from BearLax 2017 with a 5-5 halftime score. BearLax 2016 and BBL lead their matches at the half.

Keep telling that to yourself. Have you seen the number of spots available on D1, D2 and D3 rosters?

NCAA Division I : 2,536
NCAA Division II : 1,546
NCAA Division III: 4,192

Our point here is that only 4,082 of the 8,784 are scholarship eligible.

When you go one step further, you find that there are only 1,116 total women's NCAA Division I scholarships for everyone and 663 NCAA Division II scholarships available.

That makes 1,776 scholarships in total being spread across 4,082 players. If everything was equal and fully funded, that would mean that the average player is competing for 43%. However as we know, elder classmen will receive increasing awards in general which means entry students are receiving substantially less.

so far YJ Blue, YJ Gold & Top Guns are in quarters...TG beat a tough NEM&D 11 to 10. YJ Blue had beaten them in the first game 8 to 6...tough draw but good win.

Stars beating Dominant was not an upset. Dominant benefited from the schedule, and Stars is one of the best programs out there.

Lets not forget, club lacrosse is about money at all levels and tournaments! Following the same logic team USA is wasting its time as well, they would have a more competitive tournament if they made rgional teams and played against each other.

How the heck did the Liberty get blown out like that! Biggest shock of the tournament so far. They looked so strong up to that point. Tough plane ride back.

Pool play against very weak teams Utah, NC and BBL led to a high seed and easy first round Desert Heat, then BBL again. They didn't play any team in contention until YJ. The result would have been the same vs. many of the other strong teams they didn't play.

Wow dissappointed in the lopsided scores, who made it in and the pool play. Seems if this was soccer you have a lot of premier teams playing some division 4 teams just because they come from another region. I thought more teams would be tested so they could show what they are made of.

I don't think the outcome was so surprising, just the magnitude of score differential suggesting complete dominance. Unusual for a Danielle Gallagher coached team. Especially against her arch rival.

It looks like Liberty has a long way to go before they can catch up to the other LI clubs in the Final 4

Yes. See 2014 team at the Rise last year, to name one. YJs were there. YJs still are the most dominant. Other programs you mentioned are considered very strong, though.

The Yellow Jackets 2015 Blue team was not at the Rise Last year.
They were there this year and won the tournament.
Always a good game with Liberty.

Reports indicate that terrible weather has landed in LarryMiller and all games will be delayed at least one hour. Teams are currently scheduled to begin warm-ups between 8:30am and 8:45am with games to begin 30 minutes later.

Correct about 2015 and this year. 2015 Liberty won it last year, but the jackets were not their. The 2014 jacket team was their last year and lost (to a non-LI team) and Liberty 2014 ended up winning that tournament as well. Liberty and TG have strong reputations among D1 college coaches and they both produce many players that play at the highest level, but not in the same numbers as the jackets. Jackets continue to be the clear leader in producing D1 lacrosse players and winning the most tournaments. Going to be a real exciting final four today. Good luck to the kids and parents. Enjoy the competition becuz it goes by fast!

IMHO, I think that both the T.G. and Y.J. parents are missing the whole point to travel lacrosse. if your sole purpose is to have your daughter on a winning team than you are probably doing her an injustice. Most kids will make the best of a situation and have friends on any team they play on, but does that situation fit your daughters personality and scholastic goals. Sure the Y.J. win more tournaments, so what. sure they send more kids D-1, but where http://www.forbes.com/top-colleges/list/? not all schools are the same, they also have twice as many teams as Liberty and T.G. so it stand to reason they will have more commits. here is an interesting article I found yesterday ( i hope sage doesn't mind )

Accelerated Recruiting Creates Culture of Fear

October 18, 2012
by Justin Feil | LaxMagazine.com

"It was kind of scary to be 16 and have to think about what I was going to major in," said former Ridgewood (N.J.) All-American midfielder Kelci Smesko.

On Thursday, US Lacrosse issued a statement expressing concern over the the complex nature of collegiate recruiting process for high school student-athletes. With this in mind, here is an article on the topic from the May issue of Lacrosse Magazine. Don't get the mag? Join US Lacrosse and its 400,000-plus members today to start your subscription.

It happens all the time in horror films. A nervous pedestrian finds herself in a dark alley only to be ambushed. NCAA Division I women's lacrosse advocates feel that way now. Accelerated recruiting has sent their sport into a spiral.

"There's a really big culture of fear right now," said Quinnipiac head coach Danie Caro.

It's a rat race for the high school athletes competing for scholarships (a maximum of 12 for fully-funded programs), for coaches competing in an arena that has grown to over 100 teams, for parents trying to pay for college and for club teams looking to turn a profit by claiming their players are the most committed.

"I had a sophomore tell me they step out at lunch time to call coaches," said Notre Dame head coach Christine Halfpenny. "They sit in the car and make calls to college coaches. I thought that was wildly outrageous to me. They should be eating lunch and getting ready for algebra."

Some coaches want to ban all contact with sophomores, even on unofficial visits. But the NCAA won't change anything without making sweeping changes across all sports. In fact, new legislation could lead to even less policing of the process.

"Everything in the last year has been geared toward deregulation," said Duke head coach Kerstin Kimel. "It's floored us."

Caro was president of the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) in 2008 when they sent a proposal to the recruiting subcommittee of the academics/eligibility/compliance cabinet of the NCAA with recommended legislation.

"We saw it coming," she said. "We've always known we didn't want to go down the path of basketball, soccer and men's lacrosse."

Even Caro, whose program is not a top-20 team, had finished recruiting her high school class of 2013 by last spring. Last year's college seniors were the first class to commit mostly as juniors, Sailer and Kimel said. Official visits were a formality.

"It will change when you reach a critical mass of coaches who have made bad decisions and players who have made bad decisions," Sailer said. "Then you might get a little bit of a pushback on it."

US Lacrosse Statement on Recruiting

US Lacrosse shares the concern of many lacrosse players, parents and coaches that the college recruiting process is not structured or timed in the best interests ... [Read More]

Kelci Smesko, an All-American senior midfielder out of Ridgewood (N.J.) High, had those concerns when she started to explore schools.

"It was kind of scary to be 16 and have to think about what I was going to major in," she said. "I wanted my heart to be fully in the school I chose. It didn't come easy."

Smesko verbally committed to Duke in December of her junior year, but only after taking unofficial visits to four other schools. She's one of the lucky ones. Schools will wait for a blue chip. She also has parents who steered her through the process.

"Parents are a big part of the process," Halfpenny said. "That's a good thing. They need as much mentoring and guidance as possible. It's not a four-year choice — it's a 40-year choice."

Always a good game with Liberty.

#38 North Carolina $44,000 per year

The gold medal match started early : 11:30am. Storms in the forecast look to be huge - hence, the teams agreed to get the match rolling early in order to get the best of the weather.

Match has been back and forth - Top Guns leading at 4-3 with about ten minutes remaining in the first half.

STEPS 2016 have jumped out to a 3-1 lead over Bear Lax 2016 in the first half.

Amen and let's hear it for NO SPIN. Everyone is sick to death of it, it's old and tired and hopefully over.

Can someone tell me how the cutoff dates work for this U15 event? You must be under 15 on a certain date right? My daughter's younger, so I haven't really paid attention to this yet, so I'm just curious.

For the 2013 Tournament, players must be born on or after 9/1/1997.

For next year's event, players will need to be born after 9/1/1998.

That's it - everything is validated via birth certificates.

I don't think TG and YJ parents are missing the point to travel lacrosse. I think these parents know their daughters are athletes that want to play the game at the highest level. Believe it or not, there are girls that want to play their sport first, and hope to complement that with the best education they can achieve. Wanting to be an athlete is a legitimate aspiration. If you want a little recreational and social travel lacrosse to help get into a highly educational environment, that's fine too. It's just not what YJ and TG are about.

Wanted to give a report on the LI Girls Showcase that was newly hosted by K&J Athletics - excellent organization from the training sessions on Thursday to yesterday's games. Matches were held in the afternoon and there were ample game play opportunities available before the tournament was done at 8:00pm. Daughter had the chance to put coaching names to faces for several schools on her list.

Extremely strong value factor - certainly worth the $125 playing fee. With only two games going in each time slot, the college coaches were easily able to see all the action and track their target players. As a parent, I had the chance to speak with several coaches during the evening which was also an education for me!

Nice touch with the pizza for the girls at practice on Thursday.

Seriously ,are you this ignorant? Give us just 1 reason why the 2016 TG team could possibly be considered the best on Long Island, my guess is just a pot stirrer. The 2016 rankings are

1) YJ Defo beaten every other team on the list with only loss coming to a MD in first tournament of the season
2) MD black, clearly an argument could be made to place them at 1 but a not so great showing at national draw drops them to #2.
3) Heros
4)Suffolk all-stars
5) Steps, Skywalkers, TG black

Though a very good team 2015 L/M did not get robbed last year. There over aggressive tactics, and and coaches inability to adapt to a what was clearly happening in the tournament season cost them. As far as this year goes, clearly Top Guns fielded the better team in Fla. though the leading player was from 2015 Black. So it's hard for me to determine who is the better 2016,. I think the best 2016 is MD. but hard to state that with any certainty without all three playing against each other head to head in a tournament format. Truth is, none of it makes any difference. Top guns players will be playing with MD. players and Y.J. players in college, so lets just wish each other good luck

Kind of a dumbas? comment. You can't tell who's better because the top player on TG is on a 2015 team. U15 is the only true way to determine who is the best in a age group (because it's actually based on age). If you keep using the 2015/2016 to determine, you could have a kid who is 2 to 3 years older.

Kind of a dumbas? comment. obviously you are a "dumbas" whatever a dumdas is? The U-15 tournament is a very nice event for the kids to have at the end of a long hot summer season, but truly proves nothing as far as the "who is the best" debate. If you are able to send teams as a whole, with no added players to the roster, it would be a truer indicator. but when you can pick a player from an older team it erodes the "my team is better than yours" claim. If you take the aforementioned player out of the lineup, and remove her goals, maybe Top Guns loses, maybe they don't. One thing for sure is that she is a full year more developed than the rest of the team because she has been playing at a higher level for a longer time. Also the U-15 are very deficient in that most of the top teams are missing (MD United, M&D, to mention 2) If you want to do a U-15 age only can we pick a truer date like January 1 of any year, this isn't soccer. September 1 isn't the start of any year it's in January

You just don't get it. U15 is u15, every team has the ability to pick any girl who fits the criteria. You mention teams like M&D and MD United, and they can't send their team because they lose too many players do to their AGE. Let me speak in simple terms for you so you can understand. Just because a girl is on a 2015 team, that doesn't mean she is one more year LAX developed, it just means she graduates in 2015. Lets call this the Reverse Doogie Houser expierment. Lets say a kid is left back 5 years, and he/she will graduate in 2016. In their junior year of high school, they will have less expierence than a senior 2015. I made the years left back extreme to prove a point. Truth is a year or two difference in the high school years makes a big difference. U15 is a better barometer then grad yr. Atleast all girls are under 15 by a certain date. It's better than having a girl from MD who is 19 and graduating against my daughter who will be 17.

I think we need to agree to disagree. I will again say that this is not soccer and the U-15 format in lacrosse is flawed. Let me say this to you in a way you might understand. The grad year age group is done for a single reason. Recruitment. Coaches want to see what players are available at the start of recruitment in any year. they do not care if your daughter will be 18 or 19 when she graduates. the do not want to weed through the girl that is 15 now but entered school a year late so though she is 15 now she is only in 9th grade, NO, they want to know that she will graduate in june of 2014. according to all you obnoxious Y.J. and T.G. parents you all have the best lacrosse players on the face of the planet on every team in every age group, so why don't you stop cherry picking players from this grad year because she started school later and send your team down as a whole. the U-15 format allowed a girl that will graduate in 2015, and plays on 2015 travel club, to compete in an event that was dominated by 2016 players or younger. You boast how your teams can beat every other club, so let MD. and M&D send down there summer 2016 roster and see if you can beat them. With the rules that are currently in place it seems that T.G. is the only club cheating this year. they sent down a rising Junior to compete against freshmen and sophomores .

You don't get it, M&D and most other MD clubs don't send teams for the same reason LI clubs shouldn't send teams. You can find better competition locally so why spend all the extra time and money? It is a great opportunity for clubs not between NYC and DC to get some exposure and name recognition. Until it's played in the mid-atlantic, you'll never attract all the top clubs.

And just for some clarification on who the best 2016 team is...it is clearly Yellow Jackets Defo. YJ's recently beat Hero's by 1 at Northern Rise and Hero's recently pounded M&D Black (I heard by 9 goals) at the Brine Club Championships held in MD. So for rankings, I see it as:

1. YJs
2. Hero's
3. M&D
4. Steps Elite
5. NEMS

That rising junior was the same age as every girl on the field for both teams! No cheating took place! All players ages are verified by birth certificate. She has played for TG on the U15 team for the last 3 years. No complants about her being on the roster the last two years just this year because TG won. From your post I believe your daughter played for NEM&D. From the final score it looks like she had a very competetive game against TG. Why did she have to play on a combined team? this wasn't a 2016 tournament it was a U15 tournament..... Maybe her M&D 2016 team has too many girls on it that are actually 2015 or older but for some strange reason they enter 1st grade after getting left back in K or Pre K and wind up playing 2016.....M&D and Sky Walkers have some of the best Girls Lacrosse teams that I have ever seen play . Well coached and highly skilled players. Get over the fact that your daughters team lost a tournament, it doesnt happen that often to her. TG won fair and square end of story

Just like a Marylander to accuse someone of cheating, simply by playing by the rules. If the Junior is the same age as the Freshmen, where is the cheating. I agree with you I have played better teams locally, and I really don't care about anyone else's kids. I love to watch the game of lacrosse played well. I love the blanket statements re: LI, it shows ignorance on your part. The only thing I care about in the end is that my daughter is a well adjusted, smart, beautiful girl that will succeed whether she plays D1, D2, D3, or Club LAX in college. I just disagree with the fact that you feel it's cheating to send an age appropriate child to an age based tournament, but it's super great and way fair to have a child playing against another child that may be a year or two older. Agree to Disagree. Sorry if I offended

I wrote the post and sage will attest that I am from long Island. you complain that MD. teams hold there kids back in K, first or second and say there cheating , then in the same breath say that a rising junior playing frosh or sophs is o.k because of some obscure rule that lets her play because her b-day falls before a cretin date, truth is she, along with 2 others, are juniors playing freshman. You also cant say Defeo is the best 2016 because they beat team a that beat team b. If they were the best they would have won in Florida, so by your logic Top guns is best because they beat Defeo, who beat heros , who beat M&D,. se how silly it sounds

The Maryland team that competed as "NEM&D" had players from the following clubs on it, M&D, NEMS, Heros and TLC.

If we are talking 2016 teams only....TG is not very good and has never beaten YJ's Defo, Hero's or M&D.

Lets end this:

Best 2016 team Defo
Best U-15 team TG

Two different topics.

I agree but must say I think if YJ took there best available 2015 players the outcome would have been different.

BOTC wants to replay for you a post that we made on July 25th.

All of the chatter, bickering, and arguing about the U15 grouping was settled on the field.

The Top Guns played at a level not seen previously on offense and were clearly prepared to break down the tremendous defensive structure of the Yellow Jackets U15 team.

Similarly, the Yellow Jackets program knows the visibility afforded to the U15 National Tournament since they have rigorously chased this crown over the last five years. If the best players were not on the field in Florida on July 25th, that is an issue within the club and should raise more concern than having lost a single, excellently played, competitive match.

Both teams should be proud. Both clubs should be proud.

The "what-if"s have all been answered.

Cage you are ridiculously biased and because you can edit posts no one can call you out on your bs.First thing I said was I agree but to say all the what ifs have been answered is just silly. Most of the posts on your site are what ifs.You act like YJ goes all out for this tournament when in fact they have a total of two team practices and treat it about the same as all other tournaments.

How about we let the community decide which post - yours or mine - is "BS"?

Doubt it. For a club that touts all its championships, not going all out on this doesn't make sense. This club practices year round, it's clear they take their training seriously.

I just knew this whole topic would turn into a YJ vs. TG theme. So predictable. I should've started a pool to see how much time would elapse before the inevitable bickering.

Come on people, take the high road. No other clubs like it when YJ trumpets all their wins so TG just let the win speak for itself, and YJ just relax, no one is saying you aren't a good team. Let it go, the quieter you are the sooner this converation ends.

How about we let the community decide which post - yours or mine - is "BS"?

I saw both of the teams play in Florida in earlier rounds. Top Guns win over Y j did not surprise me. Both are great lax teams, but the team fielded by TG this year in Florida was bigger and faster. Clearly that helped make the difference.

For the years YJ won this tournament all you heard was parents telling everyone that this was the end all crowning of champions tournament, now that yj have not won for a couple years you want to down play it as no big deal, barely practice and barely bother to recruit the better players. I could care less how you feel but you cant have it both ways.

I give the club owners credit. Do not see how any of the benefits outweigh the above.

For some reason there seems to be an inordinate amount of kids from Maryland who can't manage to get out of kindergarten and/or first grade at the proper age, so the majority of players on 2016 teams are too old to qualify for a u-15 tournament(forget any 2015 kids), which means they would be playing on equal footing, this is why they don't enter - has nothing to do with cost, it's a simple risk/reward decision, they can't win at the proper age group, so why expose themselves?

Except for a few games, the finals being one of them, the competitioan by game was terrible. So a plane ticket on relatively short notice hotel room and rental car for people not making a lot of money is definitly a factor. In the end its bragging rights

Cage I give you credit for posting that response but it seems the lax community at large does not care much about bs.You are always going to have what ifs, and people are always going to debate the what ifs.I know for a fact that some very good 2015 LM YJ players were eligible to play in Florida but did not, would they have made a difference? I think they would have but that does not change the fact that TG had the best U15 team at the tournament this year. Another fact is the YJ team had 2 practices in total prior to going to Florida, in my opinion that is not showing that this tournament is the most important event to them, again that is something that is arguable.Discussing the what ifs are something that this website is about , at least that is what I thought.

The rules that govern this event have been the same since it's inception. All teams entering knew the age rules that would apply ,so quit your complaining and tip your hat to the victor. When Skywalkers won last year and the Yellow Jackets the preceding two years all of these same rules applied.

Exactly and next year when the YJs have a really good shot at winning with the 2017 team and the four defo girls coming back, this argument should be non-existent. TG had a better team this year-end of story!

It's sad that YJ parents are more concerned with coming up with excuses why they didn't win this year than they are with dealing with criticism over the thuggish play of many YJ teams.

Thanks for the comment. Always good to see someone who isn't trying to make something out of nothing, or the other way around. TG (Great Team), YJ (Great Team), Skywalkers (Great Team), plus a few not mentioned here. Just have fun watching high level girls LAX. TG Parent here.

While this is a beautiful part of the country, the fields are beautiful but port a pottys with no toilet paper and a tourney that looks like it was thrown together in a few hours, boys and girls dropping out last minute, not sure what US lacrosse was thinking. High school varsity players are playing 7th and 8th graders-no one gets anything out of that. There is one small tent with a couple of tshirts. You had to pre-order sizes as they only had mediums. No girl stuff to be found anywhere. Yes, we are here to play lacrosse but shopping thought the vendors is always fun too. Sorry US lacrosse, you could have done a lot better. Our team has one game today-one?

Aweful! And there were more recruiters at several summer tournaments this year! To those who have daughters that didn't "make the team" consider yourselves lucky! Total waste of time and money!
