Looking for some real info.. not fake news or sarcasm please...
What do each of the LI clubs charge for tryouts and tuition?
Specifically Liberty, TG, YJ, Elevate, Jesters, Igloo, Legacy?
I wouid like to think this site is good for something other than sillines. Thank you in advance to those who can give some true info!

Elite was the only Maryland team that went to the National Championship this year. It'll be interesting to see which Maryland teams go next year to Delaware.

While that is expensive for a tryout, they post exactly what you get and exactly what it costs on their home page. Which is more than I can say for most clubs. It's exhausting trying to find out how much clubs charge before you waste money trying out. I wish they'd all just post what you get and for how much!

Not expensive. All relative. Most deduct try out fee from tuition dues.

They will be lucky to have one team after all the good girls disperse to TG and Igloo. If I was a bottom tier player on either one of those teams, I'd be worried!

Not many, they have birth certificate issues.

The starting girls aren't leaving YJ for TG or Igloo as they played endlessly...to a fault perhaps...but still endlessly. No reason for them to go anywhere. It is those that are very good that should have played more that have reason to think about it. There are some that are best suited for a B team in any organization that will likely ask to go to YJ Wright to get a better experience. Only 2 have left YJA over last couple years...one to TG and one to Leg. One other went to TG and another to Leg after making YJA. As has been said by many, if you are not happy, there are other teams to go to. With 1 goal sperating these teams in "most" games, ...the other options are not that much better. They say that grass is greener on the other side. I've looked at the other side of grass and it is basically the same color. Once again...these verbal battles will be decided on the field. Igloo wins the Nationals and looked good. TG beat Igloo 4 out of 5. YJ wins Lax for Cure that included MD teams (regardless of bracket). None had a horrible season and none went undefeated. All will make for good games. Being on any of these 3 teams and add YJB to make the 4 top teams on the Island. The rest are...well...the rest.

Those are all valid points. Now, since people are finally in agreement that there are several competitive teams in this age group, how about we have these teams start scrimmaging on a regular basis instead of training on there own. That would be huge in getting all the girls better. That's what they do in MD

In theory it would be a great to see all of these teams playing against each other, developing and not having to travel but in reality it will never happen. Poaching of players is very real and the above listed clubs are terrified of losing their top players to another club. After the YJ/TG game it was interesting to see the parents of the two clubs mingling as the directors of the clubs stood by to watch.

You are obviously part of the friends and family clown show! You keep spouting off about the one goal differential where anybody could see why YJA is quickly slipping off into the abyss. Those girls are receiving absolutely no coaching or development and the slide will continue unless drastic measures are taken. Anyone who watched the TG game could clearly see the lack of coaching, case in point TG went into a stall and one girl literally stood in place for minutes while nobody pressured the ball and not one peep from the sideline. Coaching staff looked like they had zero interest in the last half of that game. The talent is there unfortunately the girls won't benefit. Next summer the team will slip further because reality is nothing will be done and the girls that need to be moved down won't, better players who should see the field more won't and parents will continue to put up with this nonsense because it's oh so important to be part of yellow jacket blue.

Very generous ranking of the YJB as the 4th top team. I'm sure Leg, Jesters, Elevate and Liberty would all disagree.

How is the girls 2023 Team 90+1? Saw them in a few tourneys this summer? Coaching any good?

Not that good. The rumor is that team has a bunch of girls leaving for other clubs.

You are making it seem that Igloo is unbeatable, They have 1 exceptional kid and a few other talented players. TG beat them and also lost to them. Plus igloo has not traveled to big tourneys to play NJ and MD top teams

I have been reading all these threads and the one thing I never see or hear about are the goalies for these teams. Of all these Long Island teams, does one team have better goalies than the other?

Yeah, that is funny. So the usual balance would be YJ at any age group would attrack 6-8 of the top 10 kids on the island. Now you have them spread out with 2-4 on several different teams. This is why LI can't compete with MD teams at this age group. I saw all three of these teams play this weekend and not one of them has a full strong line up. All had multiple glaring holes, even on the starting lines. I like the idea of balance and options of multiple clubs, but it is at the expense of Long Island lax representing. You all should get together and pick one club and all go there, starting to get embarrassing for LI.

Coach is great. Taking her daughter to another program to be on age level. She is a 24. Team was very solid. Not igloo or top gun or others at the top but they were competitive. I think the coach leaving will split the team up.

That is a shame, the team seemed to be very unselfish but did not have the elite team members.

Anyone with any sense of business or marketing would say "you're damn right!" You might prefer the taste of RC Cola but it will Never get the recognition or success of Coke or Pepsi. Fact. If you want to debate that it doesn't matter and showcases are everything, you have zero sense of business or marketing. And if your only goal is college recruiting, it is agreed...you better learn to market in addition to your club. If your goal is to have your daughter play with the top girls in their age, you play for a top club. If the goal is to be part of a fair team where everyone gets equal time and all get a participation ribbon, play somewhere else!

No exceptional players on YJ A or they wouldn't have lost to Igloo 2x and TG.

Totally agree. That's why Maryland has a handful of girls lacrosse teams of very talented girls. Some of the Long Island teams have multiple teams for the same age group, like Top Guns and Yellow Jackets. It's a money maker for them.

As far as Igloo, they did win the championship at the US Lacrosse Nationals last week in Virginia in the girls 2023 category. Top Guns lost in the quarterfinals to a PA team and Yellow Jackets lost 2x to Igloo.

How about the brilliant move to call for a stick check on TG, which failed. And resulted in a failed stick check on YJ (typical cheaters) results in a turnover and game over. Jackass coaching at it's best! TG laughed at that one!!

At the same time, you are admitting that the difference in that game was a failed stick check...not the teams. They are basically equal on the field. You just made that clear.

Jesters is $65 for two rounds of tryouts. And $1050
For the summer season. That includes winter training indoors. Anyone else care to share? That's what this forum is for.

If not from Massapequa, don't bother. And even if you are from Massapequa, and you haven't been playing with them already, don't bother.

Overated how? Both YJ and TG have beat the top Maryland teams this past summer.

Haha you're funny! A failed stick check is the least of Thorn's worries. The game would have been lost either way. YJA is just not as good....which is why they lost! Next year will be worse.

1 exceptional kid, just like YJ 2023 "A" team

Who's that? Your daughter? A few strong players....no one standout, sorry dad.

The Jesters are a town team.

Surprising the better girls haven't left and gone to club that can get them some exposure.

Please pump the brakes on the exposure talk

Nope, don't need to be, but that's why everyone hates you. And with being on the field the whole game, if she's that good she would have got the job done. Instead, YJ has dropped down to #3 on LI. The club really could use some fresh players and coaches.

Igloo went to Virginia for the US Lacrosse Nationals and won the championship. So they are venturing out to out-of-state tournaments. They are a fairly new club.

Igloo parents were sold on the premise that the club wouldn't travel off Long Island now they are. Clubs she be more upfront with parents.

I saw that Jesters team play our NXT team week before Nationals in Pa and I felt they were a tougher team then TG and YJ. We handled TG whereas that Jester team had us beat. Igloo outplayed us though!

YJ 2023 "A" is in desperate for a coaching change. Lack of good coaching is apparent. Now we have a 3 year track record of poor coaching. Especially from the assistant coach (or is he the head coach). Definitely does not know the game of lacrosse. Has all that talent and he craps the bed every year.

I think they were looking for more competition, which there isn't a lot of on Long Island. Playing teams from Maryland is much more challenging. Top Guns and Igloo can't keep playing each. Lol

Let's see if they shake it up this year although I doubt it. CR 's making approx 42K per team with a roster of 24. Multiply that by 26 teams to get a grand total of $1,092,000. Thats not counting indoor and all the other stuff. It's really an embarrassment. You would think if you were making that kind of money you would be scared of ruining your brand. Guess not.

Problem is if CR was to make a sudden stop she'd have to pry Thorns head out of her [lacrosse]. I'd bet Giaccalone's life would be better if Thorn just did her job. He can't be having fun doing all the work and getting all the blame for failures.

Your joking right ? TG got smashed in Lax for the Cure by all Maryland Teams that YJ beat, and now you act as if you're the best team in the country getting third place after stalling for 20 minutes and calling for a referee stick check during a time out against a "terrible" YJ team at NATIONALS . Get real . Igloo is a good squad however they haven't proven themselves against any Maryland teams yet or any very good New Jersey teams that matter. I think they would do well however will we ever find out. The TG camp hates YJ so much that they overlook the fact that lacrosse teams from anywhere don't respect your program , because you're happy with mediocrity. If my kid won a 3rd place medal I'd have her throw it out on the way to the parking lot. Moral victories are your gold medals.

What did you do with your 4th place medal? Hopefully Cr doesn't hide the 23's in Delaware or Laxin out loud again. The mid Atlantic summer championship would be a more suitable tournament for a team everyone respects like YJ.

Don't let facts get in the way of your angry post. TG got smashed in Lax for the Cure? They lost by 1 goal to MD United in a time shortened game. They lost to Monster( YJ didn't play them) yes it was an impressive win by this YJ group their only one all summer. In Lax for the Cure it was slightly tainted playing in a B bracket ( Wright played in the A bracket) walking into the playoffs and winning playoff games that looked like hockey scores. Teams don't respect this team ? They beat most of the Maryland teams at least once (they did not face Hero's ). Igloo spanked you twice. And now your angry that your the 3rd best team on Long Island. The YJ aren't a "terrible team" they just have parents like you that bring the program down.

Oh, she'll hide the A team again! She knows they can't compete in more that one game per day. All the work goes to 1 girl and when she is gassed, it's over. CR is stuck with a lousy Asst. coach (scared to get rid of him) who is the boss of the Head coach in real life. Nothing will change on A and 2023 will continue to under perform. What she needs is a qualified A coach, a legitimate tryout/evaluation where the actual A coach pays attention during the tryout (unlike last year which everyone saw, what an embarrassment,) and some BALLS to make a change (which won't happen). 2023 is doomed to me mediocre. "A" coaches should have been relieved of their jobs last year after their tryout behavior.

I really do hope CR looks closely at the 2023 situation. It isn't fair for anyone involved. Having 1 egotistical man personally manipulate the coach, parents, CR and the 2023 rosters is just absolutely wrong on so many levels. Its unethical. Everyone knows what is going on and how it is allowed to continue is beyond me. He's a bully and knows nothing about lacrosse developing players and coaching.

Actually, that would be you (loser=lost, to both TG and Igloo). Your team stinks and is getting worse. I'd be embarrassed to walk around in all that YJ apparel you purchased. We're all laughing at you!

The coach is doing the best he can with the talent he has. This team will improve they need to add talent and lower the girls that aren't playing they can develop on Wright's team.

GENIUS, the head coach is a "her"not a "he". "He" is not doing the best with what he has. "He" has more than any other team at that age group. "He" does not use them effectively because "he" has no lacrosse IQ and has proven it the past 3 years. If "he" had a lacrosse IQ "he" would be the head coach. Reason "he" is not is because "HE" lacks any type of lacrosse credentials. Plain and simple, "HE" does not know the game. Can you imagine if CR named him head coach? People would run for the hills, and they are running. YJ 2023 losing more talent every year.

That's kind of the point , some of the better players will leave to go to YJ knowing that they have a history of their better players essentially going wherever they want year after year while who knows with igloo.

lol....why this team is a joke and a half... nice response....not the sharpest tool in the shed....the parents are the worst ...absolutely CR should look and see what she has representing her brand....ha! just look at the behavior on the sidelines. look what the parents are doing...look how they treat their kids and the players and each other..horrendous!!

News flash: no good 2023 player is going to YJ, the good players have left/ are leaving because they are not developing due to the mess the team is. Do you really have your head buried that far in the sand that you don't see what's going on. A shame

Igloo didn't send their 2021 or 2022 teams to the National Championship. If they are not even attending competitive tournaments how would you expect these girls to get recruited. You may as well just play for your school team for the same amount of exposure or go to a club that gives you an opportunity to be seen.

The "Good" players have left, the "Very Good" players still remain. Thise that were frustrated they didn't make the team 2 years ago left to the start up Leg. A very good player went to TG. 2 Excellent players from Comswogue were added to YJ and the team was just as good as TG & Igloo. The TEAM is doing just fine. The negative posts are coming from those NOT on the team trying to stir the Pot. We will be just great playing on a top team (ALL have agreed top 3 on LI, even if YJ Was always #1). Our 2023 YJA Family is all together despite the BS reports that we are not. We look forward to the Fall tournaments and numerous upcoming events. "Good " players will go elsewhere, "Very Good/Exceptional" players WILL play on YJA. A FACT that NONE of your opinions can change. You will keep responding with your negative energy. We will continue to grow.

lol....why this team is a joke and a half... nice response....not the sharpest tool in the shed....the parents are the worst ...absolutely CR should look and see what she has representing her brand....ha! just look at the behavior on the sidelines. look what the parents are doing...look how they treat their kids and the players and each other..horrendous!!

News flash. That is almost every YJ team. Even if they're winning the parents aren't happy. We can't take the toxic environment and have moved on. It's a team sport. Most YJ teams are toxic.

News flash: no good 2023 player is going to YJ, the good players have left/ are leaving because they are not developing due to the mess the team is. Do you really have your head buried that far in the sand that you don't see what's going on. A shame

The sky isn't falling. YJ is the top brand and the tryouts will be filled with girls hoping to have the opportunity to play in this club. My guess is at least 3 2023 teams. You may have a couple of girls that leave the blue or gold team for greener pastures but they'll be replaced.

No, no one wants to play for YJ in this age group. They won't have enough players to make a third team. Everyone is flocking to other programs due to the incompetence of the coaching on their A team. I do hear very good things about coach Wright however she is the B coach. She does develop players but your child has to get on that team if you are lucky. If you are on A you sit the bench if you are not a friend or family of the coach and his assistant. A lot of nepotism and favoritism. Better experiences elsewhere

This is getting a little unhealthy for some of you.

I think we got it.

1. You do not like SG
2. You do not like BT
3. You do not like YJ and CR
4. The YJ 2023 girls are not good
5. The current 2023 YJ girls are leaving for better clubs
6. Igloo and TG beat YJ this year at Nationals.
7. Your daughter left YJ and you and your couldn't be happier.
8. The parents on 2023 YJ are the worst.

Take a break from BOC enjoy the rest of your summer with your daughter take a step back from girls youth travel lacrosse. I wish all the Long Island teams the best of luck next year. Hopefully we get to play again next year and continue a nice rivalry between the local clubs without the BOC nonsense.

yes good lacrosse players are assigned a bench seat. they train but don't play in the games. big speeches about playing to win but we don't win. Its a joke..this is where 2023 YJ is really doing a number on their reputation. The fact that people left and are leaving speaks volumes

Most of it correct except the part about left YJ, change it to leaving, then you're spot on!

NO! Please do not take a break. We love reading all this drama - it's made for great conversations when we run into other lacrosse parents at the boardwalk bars. If you Long Islanders stop - then us Marylanders will not have anything to help us make it through all this club BS. Although, we are blessed with the multiple clubs within easy driving distance of each other, we do not have to settle for one club and be miserable there. For example, if we do not like M&D, Sky Walkers, TLC and Hero's are just around the corner. And if those are not enough MD United and Capital are not that far off. And if the idea of my kid playing on a "B" team for one of those clubs - does not sit well with me - we can always got to one of the other dozens of clubs around Maryland. Please keep posting, I established a routine at the beginning of our vacation last week and I only have the remainder of this week to read the posts as I drink my morning coffees. Besides, what are we going to talk about at the bars at night. Please keep posting.

How did that go for YJ last year? Good girls left and the replacements were hardly standouts, rode pine. Why would anyone do that to their daughter?

YJ is now the 3rd ranked girls team at 2023 on LI. The best girls will want to be on the best teams, and that is not YJ. This has happened just as predicted, and we will witness the further decline of YJ as time goes on. Fish rotting from the head down.

I don't know much about Elevate other than they have a great 2021 team. Empire just created a 2023 Nassau team and they did fairly well for their first year. They won a couple of tourneys and made it to the championship in others. They did some fun out of state tourneys, like Hershey and Great Wolf in MA. The coaches are great. Kids love them. I've heard no complaints.

I will say, my experience with the YJ parents at the US Nationals is not good. They didn't have many fans. They are rude, obnoxious, classless and act like petulant children. The way they would yell at the refs was disgusting. The things they said to their own children would make anyone cringe (apparently not them).

And the players are not much better. They are sore losers and disrespectful. One YJ kid spit in her hand before she shook the hands of the winning team. Very disgraceful.

And the best part is listening to them go on and on and on about why they lost. It was never their fault. It was the refs, or they were too hot or it rained...like I said, not their fault.

Igloo didn't send their 2021 or 2022 teams to the National Championship. If they are not even attending competitive tournaments how would you expect these girls to get recruited. You may as well just play for your school team for the same amount of exposure or go to a club that gives you an opportunity to be seen.

Did you really just say "National Championship" and "competitive tournaments" in the same post? If you're going to make that claim about Igloo, at least pick a correct reference.

The 2023 Igloo Team is coached by the star players father which is the only reason why the team did so well. Remove Daddy and the player and the team
will fall apart. certain girls are only their for the name since they barely get to play. Maybe 7 girls on the team are worth talking about. They will
say oh we won the nationals but many states didn't even send their top teams to the event. Something igloo won't admit.

All kidding aside, does Igloo have the ability to get into the better tournaments going forward with entering only one age group (that being 2023). Don't tournaments look for clubs with multiple teams across several age groups?

The girl is no doubt a good player, but she is not consistent. I have also seen her do absolutely nothing in games, such as the 4-1 loss to TG. As for the Nationals, the reason why some other states (MD) did not send teams is because the girls were too old. (Cheating Holdbacks). Keep in mind that both YJ and TG beat the MD teams in various tournaments throughout the summer.

That's one team more than most of those second tier clubs have that do get into those "big" tournaments. Those supposed "big" tournaments put quantity over quality. Follow the money.

Then why doesn't Igloo send their teams to the play the MD, NJ, VA teams during the summer? Playing Elevate, 90+1 and Beach Bums all summer isn't going to put them in any conversation, it's PAL. Excluding the 2023 team, which can play.

Yes Dad, if you want to brag about your daughter, she must show up at every game, and yes, in the 7th grade. That's what superstars do, otherwise, you are just another decent player.

That's a great point. It's never about one person. She is a great player, but she has a defense and a goalie that keeps them in the game when she's off. That's something everyone likes to forget or don't bother knowing at all. Defense and goalies always seem to get the shaft (no pun intended)

This is true. YJ and TG also have some real standout players. But, you can't play lacrosse by yourself!! Imagine if we had all these great girls on the same team?? Would be unstoppable!

YJ lit the defense and goalie up when the coach's kid wasn't on the field that team will only go as far as she can carry them.

Well, they do have their own planes now.

Right now size is a factor is the game at this age. Referees don't call blatant charges as these bigger kids just plow defenders over going to goal. Parents on the sidelines are impressed when kids just barrel through. Tough to be on the sidelines sometimes listening to what some perceive as good plays and referees ignore. It's a hard game to play defense in when the majority of the calls are in favor of the offense.

Size is definitely a factor. The big fast powerful girls are a big reason teams like Igloo and TG are doing well. YJ needs a few more girls that have some size.

I would be more embarrassed that one kid lit up the entire YJ team and took them down twice! Doesn't say very much about the quality of this team

Or the coaching if you can't figure out how to stop a one girl team that's problem.

I disagree! The big strong players get constant whistles even when they have not had an infraction. If the other player falls down or stumbles the refs call it every time.

No way. Has a few string girls just like every other team. Not everyone a rockstar. Igloo is a solid team. But watch out. Not all the parents are happy about spending that kind of money. Few going to a certain NAssua south shore team tryouts. That's a fact.

Igloo is not expensive if you consider fall/winter/ spring, summer training - as well as stick clinic Saturday mornings.
Calculate all your ala carte charges.

Yes, Empire created a 2023 girls Nassau team this summer and they did quite well. They practiced at a few different locations in Nassau County. Their coach is the head varsity lacrosse coach at Lynbrook High School. All the girls and the parents love him. I think they have tryouts next week.

When you factor in that they do mostly local inexpensive tournaments it is very expensive. I cringe to think how much the price will increase when they start hitting the Jersey Turnpike tournaments more often.

Really - you will cringe! Is that what has you up at night? Thinking about how much another club program may charge. Knock other programs to feel good about yourself or try to promote your own program?

not expensive if you attend all of them but some kids do other sports and miss most of fall/winter things...plus don't they carry 25 girls ?
and play the same 12

Hershey, Mass, Hofstra, Holtzville. They are a new program so I bet they will enter more this year. I know people will say those are not "competitive" tourneys, but it's a great start.

I'm not sure where your information is coming from but Igloo went to New Jersey & Virginia this summer. They also start their season in September. They practice throughout the winter and do indoor tourneys. I will be honest, I'm not sure what's considered expensive anymore. They are all expensive, especially when you have more than one kid doing it.

They played in the second bracket at Hofstra and weren't that competitive.

Empire was a new team, and while they were in the 2nd bracket they did beat TG purple very easily (~10 or 11-5). So yes while they aren't beating Igloo or TG, they are a solid program, and the parents really like Coach Tetro

Lots of changes in the 2023 and 24'
23-- word is Jackolone is gone
24--Chris Ramos the MS JV coach is joining the 2024's as well as the old 91 (2023) coach. I don't believe Jackie Williams is coming back

Parent coaches should not be coaching their kids team period! If they love the sport and love coaching so much give them another team. Even when they try to be fair they are always criticized and at the end of the day most of them do it to self promote their own kid. PAL is one thing but not in competitive travel sports.

Agreed, and from what I heard about the 90+1 coach is that she ALWAYS started here daughter, ran plays via of her and she was a 2024 kid who may do well play against 24 kids but was not the type of kid who should play above her age group. I think that's the nicest way I can put it. Maybe they give her the B team at 24 YJ

Means on A you got to be a top 3 attacker to start; cause Mommy's daughter always starts!!! The parent whose kid is the 4th best attacker on the team better get used the sidelines for the start of games

She may have rotated girls but every iso play went through her daughter.

More parents coaches on YJ. What is going on? Now 2024 team will follow suit and have the same issues that 2023 team is having. Whether Giaccolone stays or they replace him with the rumored MS dad, isn't that still a parent coach? YJ used to pride themselves as being the elite club that didn't use parent coaches. Tough to say that now.........

I've heard a lot of YJ and TG parents talking about that goalie. She's supposed to be really good. But teams should have two goalies.

First, take a Xanax. Second, my kid is not a goalie. Third, my kid doesn't play for any of these teams. Forth, my kid won't play for any of these teams. Fifth, I don't have a kid this age. Sixth, the kids I train want to join a travel team. Seventh, I told them I would feel these teams out. Eighth, you're a very angry person. Ninth, if my kid played for YJ and consistently lost, I would be angry too. Tenth, now I understand why the YJ parents are hated.

Thank you! You've made my life easier because now I can officially tell them to stay away from YJ.

Zero truth to this
God forbid the kid earned it..maybe some lose sight that starting lines are based on attendance and effort at practice as most coaches follow

heard most MS girls from 91 going to yj ...think there was drama last year...lol good luck this year !

Hope they know they will go from having fun and playing to riding the bench. The best MS girls are already on YJ and don't do much, feel sorry for the girls going over thinking this will be a good move.

That's why I'm telling my girls to tryout for other teams. Once you lose the fun aspect, there is no point in playing because the girls lose the motivation to move forward.

There are no exceptional goalies in 2023. Most are barely mediocre.

Way to promote your own kid! Bit ridiculous to be calling out 7th graders. You all have a lot to learn. Comical.

That's just an idiotic statement. So you're telling me that TG, YJ, & Igloo won all their tournaments by themselves with no help from the goalies? The goalie from YJ is very good. Team 91's goalie was good. I don't know what level of teams they played, but good nonetheless. TG has two goalies, I think, and I don't think TG won with an open net. The Igloo goalie also played for Empire. I saw her play with Igloo and she was great. I don't know how she did with Empire. I know they won a few tournaments.

So in your infinite wisdom, please tell me how any team wins without a strong goalie? And no, teams don't win with just a good offense or defense, that's why it's called a team.

To be quite honest, there is one or two people on these threads who are completely obnoxious. If a parent wants to brag about their daughter, they should. That's why we have these types of forums. It's called being a proud parent. Please cut the crap already. If you don't like what people have to say on this thread, then go start your own thread titled "2023 Obnoxious Parent"

Coaching change is happening but it may not end with the desired result. Another daddy coach.

I saw the game at Hofstra when Igloo beat TG in the last few minutes of the game, and I was very impressed. The TG goalie is also very good. Are they looking for another goalie? My friend lives in Westchester and is having a hard time finding a team for her daughter who is a goalie.

Never happen. The best are the Mt Sinai / Nthpt girls. The others are fill ins and have no where to go, most have already played for 2-3 clubs.

Empire is retooled and will be competing with the big girls this fall and summer. Best coach in the age group leading this team.

I'm thinking Elevate prevails again. Elevate definitely got stronger. But keep putting a target on your back. I don't think the games you'll be playing against Igloo and Elevate will be as close as you do.

Igloo, Elevate, Empire, LEG, Liberty and others need to stop hiding out in Mass and Penn tournaments, and test their metal against the Delaware, Maryland, and other Long Island teams. Then you can talk legit trash about how good you really are. Go play a few weekends against the likes of M&D, Heros, STEPS, TLC, and Skywalkers, just to name a few. All are accomplished programs. Then see how many T-shirts you win. Push your program directors to play harder tournaments in 2018. That's one of the ways your girls get better. Play better competition, and learn from the results.

Empire Mom - your self generated hype will make you look stupid come tourney time. You will not be able to compete.
