Last summer a 5' kid with no brothers played on express white, the same kid is now 5'8" was the MVP of the Nassau Suffolk showcase, he got bigger stronger and better and at what appears to be an open tryout made the Orange team - just saying.

and what that says about express ability to judge talent is that last year they missed a small diamond in the rough who was also injured at the tryout, not at his best and didn't deserve to make the top team and this year found a fully grown talent lacrosse player. open and fair tryouts

Kudos to that young man. What year?

I do need to say that tryouts are not infallible. A player could have a bad two days, be hurt, or the exact opposite have the tryout of his life and never play at that level again. At least player was still in Express and is playing on Orange.

This says it all! The "playing field" is not the same in any given year- but most especially for kids going through puberty. Good for that kid!

It's funny how when your side loses, it's because the other side cheated, they are low information voters, they voted because they are getting things for free, etc. Those who fail to recognize their short comings are doomed to repeat them. Why doesn't the losing party ever take a step back and say " Gee, maybe our ideas, or beliefs, or policies are outdated and wrong, and the majority of the country doesn't agree with us.

Or, perhaps, they just grew...because that does usually happen @ this age. Why does everything have to be "suspicious"?

2019 is $1600 for summer, if you did fall tournaments and practices it was additional $800.
