Funny, lowest bracket? Then how did they win the tournament? Oh, I guess by playing the other 2 worst teams in the semi's and finals. You dope!

Dope, there were no good teams there. Talk to me when you play M&D Black, Heros A, and MD United. Give me a break with those second tier teams

like your team! Dope

MD United? They're not any good any more. You NY folks need to stop mentioning them in the same breath as M&D and SW. MD United is a has-been. Move on.

M&D United beat MD Black and heros this spring. What are you talking about??

Coach plays everyone. Team is doing great. Anyone not happy with playing is free to leave. There is a reason some girls play a little more than others. Coach is no nonsense and has no special interests on the team. He plays to win.

Well done??? How is this a job well done. It's actually an embarrassment to the YJ brand. YJ used to be known for being a top club playing and winning against top competition. Now they play lower level teams and think it's an accomplishment that they win a bracket. This is hilarious!

C'mon man. The only message sent was shut the F#$% up and pay me my money. Oh and lets play in a BS bracket so we can win. Oh and I only play Friend and Fam and ESM kids.

Your sense of entitlement is ridiculous. The top girls play in big games if your daughter isn't one of them have her train more. The girls that are in there are training harder and deserve more play time if you disagree go to a less competitive like Wright.

HAHA, LOL yeah so you can come in 2nd to them every year after poaching kids from Wrights team. Funny thing is you get outdone by Wright when she plays every kid on the team. She doesn't out do Thorne every year by just playing her best kids. Every kid on Wright is on the field half of the game. Thorne only wins sometimes by only playing her top kids while the others ride the bench. Something obviously isn't working. Thats why CR was on the sideline this week. Maybe your kid should try passing the ball once in a while.

Wright played in the lowest bracket. Giving equal play time against PAL caliber teams is easy. Let's see what Wright does against a couple of real teams this weekend.

Umm......Thorn only played Pal teams as well. They were in a D level bracket. Got to respect Leg for playing in a the top Bracket even though they had a rough time. That's how you get better. Isn't that the purpose of driving to MD? YJ's would have been better off staying on LI with the teams they played. Ironic that CR brags about her teams playing in top tourns vs top competition and then thinks people won't notice the smoke and mirrors!!

YJ is playing in the Lax for the Cure this weekend. The most competitive tournament around even Maryland teams drive up to compete. Top level competition we will see where our girls stack up.

Your perception that because the Monica Division is listed first makes it the top bracket is way off. M& D Black & Hero's Green were in the Jordan Sparks division, liated 2nd, which certainly is no B division...just listed 2nd. The teams in the Monica Divsion that Leg played were like 4th graders. The teams Thorn and Wright played would have mopped up the entire Monica division. Tell yourself you went to MD in the top bracket, " which is how you get better", but it is delusional.

Big talk but if you can't win Lax by the Sea your not as good as you think you are. Both teams wouldn't fair well against MD United or Elite. CR knows this that's why she's sending your teams to the Allstar Express where there is no competition. Look at Thorn's bracket for Lax for the Cure not a single competitive team.

Hmmm....I think you are trying to deflect. Maybe if you keep saying it parents might start to believe you. Listen, we all know the parents don't select what tournament and brackets they go into but let's call a spade a spade, Thorn and Wright did NOT play top teams this past weekend and they are NOT playing top teams in Lax 4 a Cure either. Top MD teams will be at Lax 4 a Cure and some are in their brackets but check the game schedules, they will NOT play them.

The only brackets with good teams were the first two. The others were PAL teams.....and you know it!

Why do you make such big assumptions? Are you new to this forum? Do you bother to read the posts or do you just like to have an outlet for your rants and your wife does not want to hear it anymore? I've read a lot of these posts and judging from the crap they write - I doubt very much that they know how to use google.

You are so correct. We give in. When I get home tonight I'm going to tell my daughter to hand over the T-shirt she got for her team winning their bracket. It's obviously worthless. I'll use it to change the oil on my car before the next trip to New Jersey. She'll understand.

She probably understands better than you realize. These girls are smart and are talking all over social media. They know what a weak schedule YJ is playing. Good news is that next week you have a chance to prove yourselves. You should walk right in to the playoffs with that cake schedule you have. Then we'll see what you've got.

Congrats to the the Thorn girls that actually got to play this weekend! Job well done...

************So.............Ultimate Lacrosse CC Blue and STEPS Elite 2023 Blue are PAL caliber teams along with the other Thirty 2023 teams ? I don't think so YOU DOPE! Think before you type. You are showing your ignorance. *****************

Top level competition we will see where our girls stack up.

but Wright is in the harder bracket...what does that mean?

What I have learned from this site is that Long Island and other regions' teams must play in every tournament with M&D black in all age groups. Furthermore, any team at the same tournament as M&D black that is not in the same bracket as M&D black is in a "weak bracket", "ducking them" or "hiding". All other tournaments and play within brackets outside of M&D black is a complete waste of everyone's time and not real lacrosse.

The sense of entitlement and arrogance from parents from this club is staggering.

I would say that many tournaments often have two top brackets, some have one. The ones with two, you may find (Example only) M&D, MD United, TLC, Mass Elite, Phantasticks, , etc in one bracket. The other bracket may have; Sky Walkers, Stars, Heroes Green, Eagle Sticks.... Then throw in your assorted LI and NJ/PA teams. But if your bracket has, and you are playing at least two of the following; M&D, MD United, TLC Red, Sky Walkers Blue, Stars, Heroes Green, then you are in a top bracket (Sorry if I left off any other top MD clubs, please feel free to add if I did). Unfortunately if one of those teams are not in a tourn that you win, it will be open to criticism (sadly for the kids). Those 6 teams are good measuring sticks whether or not people want to admit it. Wish there were six good options like that in Long Island/Metro Area

You've hit the nail on the proverbial head! You can tell what the 2 top brackets are by quickly glancing at the playoff bracket. Rose and Pink are the only brackets that send a 1 & 2. Interestingly enough all teams you mentioned are in them.

My reference to MD was more historical and not age group based, having daughters in a few older ages as well.
