Who plays for the Ducks? My kid does not.

Who cares what team your kid plays for? As long as both the parent and kid are happy! At this age coaching is the most important thing, not winning or losing . Who cares if you go to Denver or Maryland to play for a championship that neither one of you will remember about in 5 years! Parents need to stop living through your children to make up what you were not able to accomplish as a young player.The amount of money we all play these travel programs for 10 years could pay for college and not need to worry about a stupid lacrosse scholarship! GET OVER YOURSELVES !

Igloo B is just that. a B program with a few A players. And have never seen the Ducks at an A tournament.

I agree with most of the rant other than the Denver part. People can say what they want about it being a "B" tournament and it's a money grab etc etc. Most of the folks that say that have kids on teams that don't have a chance to win...and that's ok. And normal travel tournaments don't matter. Denver is different because the only reason to do it is for the chance to play on ESPN. It's about the experience and I challenge you to find a kid that's played in it and made it to the final that doesn't remember it.

Igloo B may be the B team in the organization but they are still top 5 on Long Island which is what the original poster asked..top 5

They are not top 5. They are a good team but not top 5.
Express igloo 91 outlaws and rebels are top 5 in no particular order. Igloo B has never beat any of those teams. Well coached but not there yet. But unlike the empires and the ducks and the old team like, igloo B plays all the top teams. Don't duck anyone. Play in AA brackets.

Are the Ducks a out east team?
I have never heard of this team.
Where they around last year?
Have they every even played any
of the top teams in this age group?

Ducks are a 91/DSM off shoot...similar to Empire, Jesters, Beach Bums.
Around last year, but don't think for all age groups. I've seen them entered into some tourneys, primarily MLT tournaments. Couldn't speak to the level of talent, but I'd have to believe they have some strong pieces just like any of the teams around here.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.....

Bunch of Scrimmages this weekend; legacee and Express down in MD, 9D1 on Li against some CT Teams. It would be nice to hear how the teams do without all the hostility.

So much for no hostility.........Express and Legacy will not be playing each other. Good luck to 9D1 vs Ct, hopefully 9D1 is coming along better than the fall. I'd much rather see 9D1 in Md this weekend. I don't think playing against a Ct team will be a true test for them to determine where they stand.

which Ct teams scrimmaged with 9D1 and how did they do?

It was the CT Chargers. 91A played the 91AA first. Both teams looked rusty as expected considering it started at 9 AM on a very cold & rainy morning. 91 A then played the chargers very close game with the chargers beating them by 2. Quality definitely got better than the first game. AA then played the Chargers and beat them by 10 or more. They looked good. Much better then the fall.

This guy is just spreading misinformation. Why do you both to get on here and spread wrong info? 9D1 AA team decisively beat the CT team by almost double digits. 9D1 A team lost by 2 goals. CT team did not bring their goalie and used the 9D1 goalie for both games who had a ton of saves. The 9D1 goalie is extremely good. It was about the kids, not about who won or lost. Everyone played a lot and had fun. 9D1 reached out to the teams who are playing in WSYL next week to scrimmage, but no one wanted to come out. Cheers to the CT team who came out to play.

Lets not talk about misinformation. I was at the scrimmage yesterday and 91AA beat Superstars 4-2, which is far from "almost double digits" Superstars did have their goalie at the scrimmage, but he was out injured. The 91 goalies played well. Also, not sure why the 91 parents catch such a bad rap, they were very gracious in hosting us. Best of luck next weekend and stay healthy.

The bad parents left 91 at the end of last year, that is why. Should be better going forward.

Igloo was the only team that brought-down a half a dozen 8th-graders for WSYL. The world was terrible when Legacy did it to them last year and now AA has subscribed to the same practice.

He hasn't done it yet so why would you say that?
