Looks like the good old blue and orange stacked their bench, i mean teams, just so other orgs don't scoop them up. Its a shame a good portion of these new kids won't see the field next summer. This is how kids lose interest and get discouraged with the sport.really unfortunate. Another way to get discouraged and lose interest is to play for a team like Empire, etc... Teams that promise the world but end up giving players and parents a false sense of ability because they play against the weakest teams they can find. They would have more competition if they played down in 2024 A division. Nice try, Shaun.

Has anyone been able to get an answer on how may kids Express is putting on each roster? My kidnwas on Channy last year and we moved to Whites team because my kid never played. He was asked backnowledge to White but I can't get an answer on how many kids will be on the team.

Has anyone been able to get an answer on how may kids Express is putting on each roster? My kidnwas on Channy last year and we moved to Whites team because my kid never played. He was asked backnowledge to White but I can't get an answer on how many kids will be on the team. It never ceases to amaze me how you are treated like crap and yet stay for more crap.. Did you read what you just said?

This is how kids lose interest and get discouraged with the sport.really unfortunate. Adding additional productive players is how teams and players get better. One of those teams lost some close games against top teams because they lacked effective subs, essentially ensuring that the starters had to go too deep and lost steam. The new additions, some will definitely be starters FYI, will play quality minutes and make the team better However, the other team is definitely just stick piling players to keep them from other teams. If my son was a middie, fogo specialist or goalie, it would be insane for me to move him to that team. They grabbed 3 kids. One was a middie who went from playing all game on his last team to the #7,8,9 middie on his new team. How is he going to get better without playing in tournaments? Would have been better to just do clinics. You forgot to sign off as warrior parent After your rant I went and looked and the other team kept 20 players which is not stockpiling its playing w far,far,far less than many other teams, my sons team had 25plus last year . People are funny

people are funny, 3 kids play 80% of the time on that team, being 7,8,9th middie vs playing the whole game, hm!

So what teams do we think improved the most after tryouts and are going to be solid and what teams do we think lost talent and why? Nobody knows except for the coaches and owners. We'll find out at 1st practice.

He got to play once we moved him to that team. You just never know if they pull a fast one. I honestly feel like all of the big clubs (I am talking for B team players which I know we never talk about on here) do it. Sucks to have a coach your kid clicks with work in such a shady organization! And I could care less about saying he plays for Express or that he played on their "C" team.....the horror!

If that's truly the case the Gold team will have a though year because they will be handed the kids not ready to play yet while all the talent will be sent to the select team. It is useless calling and asking for an honest answer. There are some damn good coaches on Outlaws. Bobby Rooney (UNC), and Kevin Lavey (team USA). My son played for Bobby and loved him as a mentor. Lavey is brand new. I'd rather pay for great coaching than have my son sit the bench on a AAAA team. Some coaches couldn't care less about your kid and that's a bad situation. I think the Outlaws have a good thing going if they can keep their coaches and add more practices.

That's from coaches trying to keep kids they took from those teams. They don't want them to change their mind before they secure a deposit. Still where did you get confirmation that so many left.

When is this bubble going to burst? Stop coddling your kids. It is ok if he doesn't like lacrosse, its ok he doesn't make the A team. Just support your kid and learn every step of the way. All depends on how you talk to the kids. Outlaws, igloo, express....wth

So hopefully those boys who were offered spots at another club take the spot and do t go back to Outlaws. It's a bad scare tactic.

Igloo B team will be like any other B team, the ugly stepchild and a money grab! The coaching will be half as good and most of the good talent will leave because they know that they are good enough to be on an A team somewhere else with better coaching. Unfortunately this is the case with the better teams. A lot of very good kids trying out for a limited number of spots. These kids and their parents know better than to stay with a B team. By the time the first practice comes half the team has found new homes and then they put the C kids on the team. Good luck with that!! Happens every year

Bro. I think it's pretty clear if you read it without an agenda. 12 kids left Select. And they went to 4 teams: Igloo A and B and Express Haugen and Channy. No contradiction. People on those teams have their rosters so they know. Kids also talk.
Maybe Select upgraded all 12 spots but does anyone believe that? Teams try to improve every year. No problem with that. But parents should hear why 12 kids left a top team. That's a lot. And people should share information before we pay another $100 tryout fee or call and get a rainbows and unicorns view of the world from the club. The value in this site is sharing info.

Tornados only took 18 kids mainly because they wanted some room for these kids who are fed up. Go to Tornados. They will be good this year.

And also because only 30 showed up to tryouts and 1/2 of them were absolutely terrible. Play in B divisions and you can expect B level talent to come knocking.

Everyone knows what that story is now don't they? we all know the story with express, but maybe they were happy with their experience after the made the move. got plenty of playing time if he was orginally on the b team going to the c. maybe their kid had a good time and their parents enjoyed watching him have a good time. there are people happy with every organization, good and bad.

That would depend on the AA team and if they actually use the second line like colleges do. My son is second line middie on his team and gets minimal time. I wish he would go elsewhere where he would be a starter and would get better, but he has friends on his team.

First string on a A/B team. It's hard to improve and be seen from the bench. That's true, and clubs don't matter once you hit high school. Your high school coach will be your sons advocate for the school he wants to go to.
