Still loving the fact that parents talked so much smack and pulled their kids off of our team for WP thinking they had to play for the best. Apparently they were the difference maker!

This is so sad. Parents do what they think is best for their kid. Maybe they wanted a change of coaching style, a closer practice facility, a team they view as more successful, a change from the parents, a change from teammates, more playing time, etc. Why do parents care what others do? So people left your team for another and you are berating them because they lost one game to you? Who cares? These are 10 yr old kids. You should see the changes that have occurred at the 6-9th gr top teams. They barely resemble what they were in the younger years. You won a game- great! You and your boys should be proud, but bashing other families for thinking another team is a better fit or will lead to more success for their kid is just down right obnoxious and childish. There's a long road to go and it's a much nicer one if you leave the bitterness aside. These kids could very well end up as teammates again- HS, travel, college. Please get a grip on yourself because it's embarrassing.

Question for you. Has Taz gotten much better or has WP taken a step back (or even plateaued)? Where do you think they rank with the Maryland clubs that have definitely gotten stronger by playing competitive games against each other all winter and spring?

That is because they play in a league against each other all Spring. Long island needs that badly to keep up.

I THINK A SEPERATE LEAGUE OF JUST TRAVEL TEAMS WOULD BE GREAT - BE JUST LIKE TRAVEL HOCKEY- COUPLE TOURNEYS A YEAR AND PLAY RELATIVELY LOCAL- REALLY , YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL BEYOND 1 HOUR HOUR AND 15 MINS TOPS FOR A VERY COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE, AS YOU GET OLDER , OBVIOUSLY HIT THE BIG TOURNEYS ETC, BUT 5TH 6TH GR

At what point do you invest town over travel teams?

So, what you are really saying is, when the Wolfpack was beating Taz it must have been because they had 10 year olds on a 9 year old team. (Which was a total lie, good try though). And now that they lost twice to Taz its because Taz is just better?? You really need to get a life.
Two great lacrosse teams. Spectacular at this age. Enjoy it.

They're very good. Spectacular is a stretch. Theyre not at the level that Bandits or Crush were at their age. Not even close.

24 is a joke of a team....kid cant cut it on 3 travel teams so his dad starts a team...think his dad should stop living through his kid. very very sad

Nothing wrong with the dad creating that team. More practice and more games is fun and only helps the kids, BUT it should be interesting when the Express kids don't play for them this tournament. I heard they are the better players on the team.

They got that covered with Taz kids coming down to help out. I'm sure you will see a lot of those Tazzie helmets this weekend.
