Thats nice that you do that, but between work, family, my own 3 kids numerous sports. To find 3 days a week to v olunteer coaching other kids would be impossible. I don't know anybody who does that. That's one really nice town you live in.

It's usually guys who played & don't have kids yet or those who's kids are grown or those who's kids don't play lax but the dad loves the sport. I guess we are lucky because we have a bunch. I've been lucky to be on a few of those teams. My other boy got the shaft with the daddy coach who only played his son & his friends. In that situation, put them in clinics.

I heard 91 & Igloo started their phone calls Igloo did...the other guys don't call. Is igloo done making calls? Don't think so...not easy to do all of those personal calls and spend time with each family. Classy way to do it, but painfully long to get done. not to mention some kids are deciding between multiple teams so they have to give them some decide. They mentioned at tryouts that it could go on till the end of the week.

True Blue just put together a 2025 team. Looks like Gordon Purdy from Addlphi is going to be coaching them, reasonably priced @$900 for the year, I think they are doing a last call tryout in the next week or so.

True Blue just put together a 2025 team. Looks like Gordon Purdy from Addlphi is going to be coaching them, reasonably priced @$900 for the year, I think they are doing a last call tryout in the next week or so. It makes sense since Purdie is tight with TB director but what happened to Sharks? If he didn't have time for that program how would he make time for True Blue? Isn't he also coaching the Australian team? Just looking for some insight since we have twins at 2025...

I just heard that JS will likely be bailing on 91 Orange. No real shock there. he put his name on the team for tryouts and bailed when he realized they weren't going to be the Bandits. Sounds like JS to me.

Grab a stick and have a catch with your son. Whatever time the team gets from Coach Spallina will be valuable time and the organization will want their team to win. Coach Rooney is no Rookie and has a proven track record. Plus, his son will be on the team. I for one am pleased with this arrangement for my boy. I would say you will be able to judge the success of the staff by the improvement of the boys skills and their level of team play. If they play as a team and move the ball, then the results will be there for all of us to see.

Express started in June, kept the cost low and still played 2 summer tourneys. Let me guess, your little Johnny was 3 string attack on the Geese, or was it Orange?

Maybe there was a big birthday party the night before. That's it they didn't play a season like legacy or 91. They played one tourney with an invite only team and weren't ready. So.....would put them with all the orgs with first time teams this year.
