I can assure you that both coaches were not aware of it

So I'm sitting in my car, the girl calls the time (multiple time for both halves). The crossfire coach calls it out to the ref and the Redshirt coach who acknowledges him. Maybe the coach on the far end didn't hear it, maybe they were more focused on the game but at least one coach from each team did.
It was a good game. The kids had fun. Hopefully we can see more LI MD games.

Game time was correct as we have a parent on our sideline who times every game and keeps the rest of us informed every time someone asks how much time left. Your daughter must have been one of the girls sitting on the sideline not playing so the 2020 girls could play. Must have sucked coming up from Maryland to have your daughter sit! The parents on this team are the scourge of their club teams. They are the big mouths and nut jobs that fit the stereotypical lax parent.

Hey Misfire guy, first I could throw together a team in virtually any age group that would beat any travel team from MD in the travel off season . Your thrown together team has a major advantage picking the best from multiple travel clubs and limiting the amount of back end kids that a true travel team does not have the luxury of doing. Your Misfire club will implode because the people that put it together will want nothing to do w the BOC nonsense and will come to see OT will hurt their own daughters position within her actual club team . It's always parents like yourselves that ruin it for your own kids .

Let's see, there is the no sleeve guy with tattoos who's wife left him cause he's a tool, who screams at the refs, the big fat guy and his wife who think they are way more special than they are, the short cross eyed guy who looks like he wants to fight everyone, the esm mom who is a [lacrosse] to everyone and talks behind everyones back, The esm coach thinks he has the inside track on who gets to play where once the girls start playing school ball, the top guns mom who keeps talking about switching to YJ and keeps asking the Bayport cross fire coach to get her daughter a spot on YJ blue rather than letting the kid earn her way on , yeah real winners there.

You really should not use 2020 age group as an ideal team model. Unless you are new to lacrosse then you would know what a mess the 2020 LI group is. Literally dozens and dozens of pages on BOTC of in fighting in this group. Between TG Blk and coaches mess, throwing kids under the bus, backdoor deals, 2nd team YJ team beating top YJ team, lady rebels, Green machine, the legacy defection. Seriously, the one age group your trying to say acts with class and above all this crap and you choose 2020? You must have your head in a hole.

They said LI 2020 doesn't have issues with MD 2020 not with each other!!!

So all the back and forth with M&D black 2020 doesn't count?

Maybe that's why it was a select team. Good kids who have played with and against each other for years. Best of all they all get along with each other.

Happy to see YJ coming to Mid Atlantic spring club championships this year. Are these going to actually be the YJ blue teams or is it a collection of girls from LI that plays in YJ jerseys?

All YJ Blue players, perhaps not the entire team can attend, but close to 100% participation.

Also no coach, you will have parent coaches not looking to offend anyone so you will not get play to win effort. Should be some great lacrosse none the less.

I trust coach will find the right balance. He knows these girls well, is a great coach at many other levels of the game and he will do a tremendous job.

You have no clue what you're talking about. The guy coaching that team doesn't coach Crossfire or have a kid on the team. But your assumption speaks volumes.

Looking forward to a few M&D/YJ matchups in the coming weeks. Hope to have some exciting games after a somewhat [lacrosse] hum spring in MD.

It looks to me like the only tournament these two clubs ( at this age) will both be at this summer is Lax for a Cure..

YJ plays M&D 2021 at the Mid-Atlantic Spring Club Championships in two weeks. Plus they are both at Beach Lax in Ocean City, MD in three weeks.

They are playing the first game at the Mid-Atlantic and could play again in the finals depending on how it all falls out. They could also play at Beach Lax but that schedule is not posted yet. Are also scheduled to play already at Lax For The Cure.

That means you are on the outside looking in.

Next weekend M&D 21 v. YJ Blue 21. Two great teams with great coaching and lots of great talent. May end up playing twice. This is what it is all about. It will be fun to watch these teams develop over the years have enjoy a friendly and productive rivalry!

In order to produce a rivalry there will need to be competitive games. The only game that M&D played last year was dominated by M&D and the only reason it was somewhat close was the play of the goalie in the 1st half. M&D dominated possession and controlled the entire game. The YJ's continually hung their sticks and were turning the ball over the entire game. The upcoming meeting will not be close as M&D has played together for the entire Spring and YJ have not played together as a team at all in 2015. M&D by 8 bet on it.

Interested to see how MD 2020 v YJ 2020 goes at the same tournament. YJ may have a better chance in that matchup.

5-3 and no matter how you spin it, that was a competitive game, tied at half. Last time I checked, good goalie play is part of the game. Agreed you are the top team until beaten. Appreciate the humility as well...

M&D parent here. YJ Blue in an excellent team. Great program, lots of great players. Fun competition!

As an M&D 2021 parent, I do not believe that post was from and M&D 2021 parent. While M&D dominated time of possession it was a very good game. Probably the most competitive game we had all summer. Looking forward to playing again this weekend as well as Beach Lax and Lax for the Cure.

Well said and much appreciated, same sentiment about M&D 2021. We should find a way to enjoy the friendly competition, looks like we could play upwards of 4 games against one another the next two weekends if all breaks right. Good luck to all the girls on both teams.

Yeah, this is no doubt someone on neither YJ blue or MD blk. Use your imagination to come up with who or even why? People not happy with their own situations looking to start trouble I guess. Whatever, I look forward to games this weekend!

Tough bracket at the Spring Club Championships this weekend. M&D, Yellow Jackets, BBL, FSLAX, Bitmore, CCLax all in same division. Two teams advance.

Don't forget Elevate 2021 had some good games against YJ last year.

As an M&D parent, that surprises me greatly. The M&D vs Elevate game was 10-3 and we had our 1st half goalie playing in the field the second half. Not sure M&D will play Elevate this year since we are not coming to National Draw
