From the looks of things 91 re-structured the girls program and brought in true talented actual coaches ,and when college ends top notch players will also be onboard with assisting, not mommy or daddy coaches or a guy who played high school lacrosse and a bit of community college lacrosse from past years where they got a bad rap ,With that being said 91 is going to be on the rise as word of mouth with their coaching gets out the program will bring in talented players to the roster and finally be on the competitive market. Each current existing grade team has their share of a few talented girls and they all should do very well this year due to AGAIN the coaching techniques not parent level coaching like the majority of the competition but excluding the 1st 2 level yj , which has legit coaches.(have to add this because yes yj does have great coaching on there 1st two teams of each grade level but lack big time after that. anyone have any feedback on the Team 91 experience for girls? Hard to get a fell as to how competitive teams will be - some grades have two teams and some only have 1 (and not a big squad).

well said... very true... But lets just hope that they keep the girls program to a two team per grade program (A/B). As stated yellow jackets have 4 teams per grade and thats where quality coaching gets scarce ,because the great coaches are the ones who lead exceptionally skilled players to victorys , parent coaching lead there own kid and there friends to more playtime on the field ,at the cost of other players parents money. Great news though to hear that 91 is stepping it up in the girls program looking forward to see this summers results. CORRECT Hit the nail on the head with coaching , which is in every travel program with this scenerio..... better players / better coaches ... Less skilled players / Mom or Dad coaches... I am sure this would rub people the wrong way with this statement but look at the final product of all the A squads in 91 program boys or any other travel program including yj. Its just the nature of the beast. well said... very true... But lets just hope that they keep the girls program to a two team per grade program (A/B). They will tell you you will get this coach and that coach, but in the end you will be swept aside for the boys. I suggest , if you think the revamped the girls program, wait 1 year, let your daughter play for another club. If they did improve go back.

Alll you 91 parents can keep on talking about how good your team is with all these early season wins when all the teams aren't even in best shape for the summer just wait till teams like express mcmanus, true blue, and all these teams are ready for you and I'm sure the turtles will not have a problem with you guys. So what your saying is that the 91 kids are somehow in better shape and more ready than anyone else? Kinda like blaming a loss on a game starting early in the morning....it was the same time of day for both teams, just like all teams are in the same shape this time of year. It is always something...maybe the 91 kids are just good..imagine that. I have no kids on that team but the story is the same everywhere.

Does anyone know who else we would have to speak with other then the 91 answering service , to get my son off of a team Besides the coaches? There is waisted talent that is not noticed by my sons coaches and would like to put him on a grade up or same grade white team. It seems Brian has not been around at practices to put this to rest and my son is getting aggravated with coaches choice picks especially with one coach utilizing his son on all positions that he is not fit for . Brian is at the practices every Sunday. Not hard to find him.

Sounds like a team my son is on, and its orange.. we most likely stand next to each other during games and have the same thoughts running through our heads and never once made it public .. Coach has to come to terms with himself. Does anyone know who else we would have to speak with other then the 91 answering service , to get my son off of a team Besides the coaches? Well let me ask you this , it seems that Brian has been at every Sunday practice Have you personally spoke to him? He is very approachable And will take it to heart of you give him a valid complaint, Otherwise all the complaining until you speak to him is worthless. Dont act surprised about not reaching the office because the funny thing Is I have called Numerous amounts of times after 10 am till 130 and they always answer phone. Either George or mike. I am sure they will relay the message to have Brian call you back. As far as far as having your son moved to another team and you state that the coach is Not coming to terms with himself , if that's the case he should be made aware of this situation so he can put coach in check or he will go. It's Brian's name on this program So yes he will handle it of you stop beating around the bush ! Unfortunately, and this is from past experience, unless your son is on the "A" TEAM, you get minimal direction and minimal attention and everything still goes to that damn same telephone number. It's luck of the draw if anyone ever picks up. And if you have a daughter, fuhgeddaboutit altogether, no matter what color team she's on, you will be ignored. Last year I tried calling, emailing, texting and twitter and no one responded.

I believe the people who complain about unreturned phone messages and e-mails never tried to speak to him directly. This is my son's 2nd year with 91 and I can honestly say that either Brian or someone from 91 has returned every phone call or email and any issues were taken care of.
