I am pretty sure tournament fees (4 tournaments) are included in the cost.

Tournament fees ARE included. The boys are also getting Maybach gloves instead of the Empires.

Glad to see that Back of the Cage is allowing parents and players to get the right information. The Team 91 web site and literature did not include tournaments until now.

Pricing pressure is exactly what some of these clubs need. Honestly, folks had better start to add some commentary here - the more information that is shared around, the faster some of these crazy costs can come under control.

My son played winter ball with team 91 and it was a great experience. How can you complain when the Major League Lacrosse coach of the year is your sons coach. You seem to get the most for your money with Team 91 but the lack of replies to your emailed questions can get annoying, besides the communication issue I say "Top notch"

Actually, for boys up to 8th grade, 5 tournaments are included in that price. 9th and 10th grade get 3 and a recruiting camp and 11th gets 3 and Hotbeds.

I can't wait to start practice.

Team 91 has nnounced the addition of Nicky Polanco defense director...Tom Zummo as offense director and John Geagan Goaltending director. This level of coaching together with all you get for your yearly tuition surely will bring their players to the next level and for less money than express...

I hope this trend on giving players more for the money continues....

The 7th Grade Orange and White teams went undefeated this weekend at the Shamrock Shootout. Teams played to a tie in the Championship for a fitting end to the day. Way to go boys!

I agree that the lack of information at times is a bit rough to deal with but overall it has been a solid experience thus far.
My son's 5th grade Team 91 White Team won the championship yesterday at shamrock shootout and didn't miss a beat. Our regular coach was away and we had two fillin coaches who are top notch in the game and hall of famers so we couldn't ask for more!!!
For a team that has only been together a short time, we beat some pretty elite organizations and our boys played like they had been together for a few seasons.
The upcoming season should prove to be pretty exciting!

Team 91 seems to have done well at the Shamrock event this weekend across the board - congrats to the entire program and the brave heart winners.

My son was the goalie on the 5th grade white team who won the championship in the brave heart! Very exciting to say the least!
Thanks!

Well its safe to say after the first 2 practices that any doubt I had about joining Team 91 has been demolished. These guys know how to run a practice, my son never stops moving and gets in the car excited to practice again, well done to the Team 91 crew.

Well I heard that team 91 hired these big name speciality coaches for offense and defense...but after getting email about how each player will be offered 25-30 minutes of coaching time with them in a group, the final result of that was Polanco and Zummo standing on the field during practice, talking to a few kids for 5 minutes then talking to each other on the sideline the whole time. Another instance of 91 pitching big names but the kids getting nothing out of these players and coaches. Its great that all of these hall of famers and MLL players are advertised, but at the end of the day its like any other travel club...a bunch of former or current college players that are actually teaching at practice. NOT AS ADVERTISED...After all of the grumbling I heard on the sideline yeserday at least they wont be so overwhelmed at tryouts next year. This club had potential to be great but looks like it may be just another lax club after all, all fluff and no stuff.
